Beauty and Mudness 👣🐃🗿

It's amazing how the beauty of OCR as a sport shines through amidst all the mud, dirt and rain. The camaraderie and sportsmanship. Nothing but gratitude for support of the whole #OCR @spartanraceph community. I bow to my co-racers for without them I would not have pushed myself. #Namaste 🥋🙏🏼

I came to race last Sunday totally unprepared as i took a break from racing. My last SpartanRace was the Stadion. Life happened, I focused on work--training clients and I'd bike to them rain or shine.

I ended up doing the Super and Trail back to back wherein, much to my surprise, i got Gold and Bronze on my Age Group respectively 🥇🥉🕊☝️🙏

It was one of the toughest races that I've done and while racing my mind was 'swamped' by memories of Spartan Danao Cebu🤣

Brutal. It was a slow start for me at the Super and i was chasing the strong gentleman from Kuwait @a.albuaijan fr the beginning till the last 8kms. Tragically missed the all too near spearthrow. Slipped, fell face down 3x in the mud and was partially blind for 2 kms as mud got into my left eye- i was wearing contacts. Just fortunate that the last few obstacles were in my favor: Multi-rig--Hoist---Ropeclimb. Just pure grit and luck. Mad respect to my competitor. And @spartan_yaz
Thank you for being gracious this time bro 🙏🏼🙂

The trail was luck and veteran tito moves. Can't really hold the pace of @fino and @mmarkrivera just had the wisdom of pushing all out before my legs cramped altogether at the last km 😅 Always, a pleasure racing with you guys!

And of course, I am proud of my PBB Boys and Co models from @empireph.mercator @jonasempire.ph @argelsaycon95 (first in his age group!) and @elysondedios for their first @spartanraceph --finishing strong and without injuries! 💪 Looking forward to the next in Timberland where they will be more competitive🔥 Congrats to @imabikassem on your first Trail! And @michaelv3r for placing on your age group too!

Thanks @merrell_ph and @sippurifiedwater family. Congrats mama @totallyraq and @fino.herrera🙌 Thanks to all my tagged sponsors 🥰 Thanks @grandimperial @cathy.wang888 for your hospitality! @gabbrosario @jadorejade 🤗 #hcphtayo taken in Vermosa by @talos_ig

“I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is’”

— Kurt Vonnegut

I believe that when we are truly self-aware, relishing unforgettable, novel moments like these—‘in the now’, we gain victory over ‘time’.
Breathing/ living through widened gaps— infinitesimal quantum triumphs.
Minutes within minutes.
Seconds within seconds.

Life maybe short, but it is wide. Be a little bit crazy, be bold. It is not the destination but the journey that unfolds—and not just the journey but the company it holds—thank you for travelling time with me Darling @reg.gatan ✨💖

My happiness feeds on yours.
I am so glad that you truly enjoyed our first @hyroxworld @hyroxtw together so much so that you are eager to do it again in 9 weeks! @hyroxhk 🙌🏻🔥😎

How delightful!! I can’t wait!

HY. Hello. My Hybrid Rockstar.

Gold! ☝️🙏🏼 #SoliDeoGloria

Humbled and honored to have raced side by side with the bravest and strongest of the Philippine Army at the 2022 Philippine Athletics Championships last April 29.

Managed to do the 400meters in 58 seconds.
It was 5 days ago and I can still feel my sore, over-strained hamstrings.
So nice to be back at ULTRA after 3 years.

It was my first time to experience doing a 400 meter race. It was pure madness! I had no training for it. The closest would be doing 1000m Intervals training for @spartanraceph sobrang iba!

Maraming salamat sa #budol at encouragement Ms @judith_staples 😆 short notice sobra!
Thank you fellow #Gold medalist brother @tjjimenez and Grace Jimenez for the encouragement and also for the sumptuous meal we had post-race. Brother TJ is one of the strongest endurance athlete that I know-- he's done multiple #Ironman races and even the arduous #Norseman triathlon. He raced fresh from #audax the day before!
Nice to meet you coach Sam Lapeña.

Finally, thank you to all my sponsors who believe this #MastersAthlete #Tito 😊

As always, lupit ng pitik ni @runpido 📸🤙🔥
