I'm a proud liberal, military veteran, support BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ & other marginalized groups. Will not be silenced to make hatred acceptable.

They have silenced us
since the times of old
when women of knowledge
were called "witches"
They have silenced us
with their "Good 'ol boys"
who were anything but
They have silenced us
with their "what about his future"
while ours were destroyed
They have silenced us
with their words
with their actions
They have always tried
to silence us
No wonder they're mad
we refuse to stay silent

We could have utopia
If greed didn't rule
If thirst for power
Wasn't a priority
For those in power
We could have utopia
If humanity was
The norm instead
Of the exception
We could have utopia
If we led with Love
We can do it
It will take a bravery
Yet to be seen
We could have utopia
If we didn't see
In labels created
To divide
We could have utopia
If we opened our hearts
To Love

I dream
Of us as beings of light
All interconnected
Touch one touches all
Intensifying the light
We are power & energy
Love beyond measure
We can see this
If we close our eyes
Look past artificial boundaries
Open our hearts
Let love flow
Like the endless expanses
I dream
Of our beauty unseen
We are always ONE
We are always infinite LOVE

When I Dream by @talumarch

I believe the Jesus of the Bible was a radical. His first & very most important teaching was "Love others as I have loved you." This is a unique kind of love, one without borders or skin color, love without judgement, a love that doesn't question why, one that isn't concerned about who the world tells us to hate. A love so vast & limitless it is almost incomprehensible. He understood that each of us hold within us the power of this love. That love, true love, cannot be contained by borders, by gender, by sex, by who a person loves. All of that is arbitrary, created to tear us apart, rather than bring us together. It's a love so radical it shakes the foundation on which the greed of empires are built. It is love in its purest form, meant to bring all of us, from everywhere, together. And we can choose this kind of love no matter who we're told to hate both for ourselves & for others. If we chose it we can end misery. We can get rightous justice for the wrong doings of others. We can love in this way, we are completely capable of doing so. Or we can keep choosing what we have now. Personally I choose love in its pure form. What do you choose? -Paula Cohen. We are ONE
Bigger than our diversities
Deeper than ocean depths
More vast than space
ONE PEOPLE
Joined by compassion
By love beyond understanding
By ties long forgotten
We are ONE
Even when we fail
Even when we hurt
Even when we fall
ONE LOVE
Joined by loneliness
Led by willing hearts
Into what a future can be
We are ONE
ONE PEOPLE
ONE LOVE
Just open your hearts
To see it

I'm done with silence
It only protects the guilty
I'm done with silences
Drilled into my being
I'm done with silence
Screaming louder than Love
I'm done with silences
That causes more harm
I'm done with silence
It reduces the person
I'm done with silences
I will SCREAM until
My voice goes horse
Until my tears stop
I'm done with silence
