Lori's Chair

Today, I had the pleasure of sitting down while getting my locs tightened by Talvia, an amazing loctician while she worked her magic on my Sisterlocs.

One thing we talked about was something that doesn't happen enough in business—collaboration over competition.

As beauty professionals, there is room for all of us to grow, serve, and succeed. When two locticians come together to support one another, share knowledge, and celebrate each other's wins, everybody benefits—especially our clients.
A special thank you to Talvia a talented Master Sisterloc Technician, for the conversation, the inspiration, and the beautiful work she does. Her passion for healthy hair and professional excellence truly shines through.
We discussed the importance of building relationships within our industry, referring clients when appropriate, learning from one another, and showing that community is stronger than competition.

The beauty industry is at its best when we lift each other up.
Tell me below: Do you believe in collaboration over competition?
