You may have seen these faces before if you have been following me. This isn’t their first or second transaction with me, this is their 5th transaction in 2 years so we had to celebrate celebrate! We have been up and down the beltway together along this journey of building out their portfolio and they definitely have shared game along the way. I’m forever grateful for your trust in me out of the 20,000 +realtors that are licensed in DC and MD.

This transaction was whew! I remember what this last property looked like when we started and how it looks now. A week before closing water appeared in the basement before the final walkthrough, the dishwasher stopped working, the dishwasher made a leak in the bottom unit, the buyers HELOC funds were behind schedule, +++++. We fixed it all, but it came with some delays. Let’s just say we are all happy to close this one out. Ladies, I am rooting for you both always. Let’s do it again :-)

A little backstory :) 
We waited two whole years for the perfect home to pop up in the neighborhood of our dreams. And when it finally hit the market, we called @tamara.easley immediately. The journey was long, the obstacles were plenty, but thanks to Tamara and @applywithkia we got the keys!

Q4 always makes me look back at the goals I set at the beginning of the year. Some need more time. Some need a different plan. And some are closer than they feel.

The first day of preschool-2.

To get her to do anything other than walk away you have to say “Spider-Man!” 🤷🏽‍♀️

The last picture is her snatching her hand away from me because she only wanted to hold her mommy’s hand. At least my baby is consistent 🙃.

That crossover tie didn’t make it to the car before she said “Take it off. I don’t want it.”

My second basketball game and apparently I’m already a floor seat kind of girl. 😂

I came to support my Titi @dewannabonner , eat good, collect my swag and spend a little quality time with my cousin Kaptyn.

My mamas said I’m very fortunate to have these experiences at 2 years old. I say they’re setting a standard I expect them to maintain. 😂

10/10 experience. The food was good, the game was GOOD and nobody stopped me from getting dangerously close to that court.

Only thing I need to work on is my face when strangers pick me up. My mommy says I look unimpressed in all her pictures. I think my boundaries are important. 🤷🏽‍♀️

How do you think we did redesigning the loft and media room spaces?! Because I think it’s PERFECTION. 😍

One of the things I love most about this home is just how much space there is to make your own.

That huge fourth-floor loft is over 500 square feet by itself, and instead of leaving buyers wondering “What would I even do with all of this space?” we wanted to show what it COULD be.

An elevated lounge. A game space. A little reading nook for the kids. A place to hang out, entertain, play and actually use all that extra square footage.

And then there’s the media room. 🎬

The projector, screen, surround sound and tiered platform were already there, so we leaned ALL the way in. Five oversized movie-night seats, blankets for everyone, popcorn within reach…because if you have a dedicated movie theater, it should feel like a MOVIE THEATER. 😂

Same home. Same rooms. Completely different vibe. 🤎

One of my favorite things about a home is that it gives you the opportunity to express your style.

Classic modern? Modern organic? Contemporary? Minimalist? Maximalist? Somewhere in between?

I virtually restaged this home in a modern organic + contemporary aesthetic, and I LOVE how differently the spaces read. Swipe through to see the original rooms and just how much furniture, scale, texture and styling can change the way you experience a home.

If anyone really knows me, they know everything I do is a choice. Locked in or not. 😂 When I decide I’m going to do something, it usually gets done.

The goal for Month 1 wasn’t to lose weight. It was to prove to myself that I could consistently show up.

That meant getting back into the habit of going to the gym (at 5:00 AM 🫠 because the last time I worked out, I wasn’t a toddler mom), learning proper form, and building a routine I could actually stick with.

I’m down 4 pounds, which I’ll gladly take. But the bigger win is that showing up has become part of my routine.

Month 2 is where meal prep and nutrition join the party. 😅

Huge shoutout to my trainer for keeping me accountable and reminding me that this is a marathon, not a sprint. She also appreciates that I don’t lie in our shared meal log. The cake pops and French fries made an appearance… and yes, I logged them. 😂

This series will mostly live over at @everythingeasley, where I’ll be sharing weekly wellness updates, meal prep, the products I’m actually using, and probably a few more complaints about vegetables. 😂
