I put on this outfit and part of me screams.

It's the part of me who desperately wanted to just fit in. To be accepted in the already-established friend groups in school.
She doesn't want to have yellow hair or flamboyant style...because she's terrified.

But deep down she yearns to be a little weirdo and find other little weirdos just like her.

So when I get a compliment that embraces the weird, I give it to her. And I tell her it's all going to be ok.

Job hunting in 2026 is a dumpster fire.

It feels like pushing a boulder up a hill while you're trying to shape-shift to please an angry God.

And if you feel this too, you're not alone...

💼 73% of workers say it's harder to get an interview.
🫪 65% never hear back beyond an autoreply.
💵 72% won't even apply if a job ad has no salary listed ... But only 44% of Irish employers actually publish salary bands.
😭 And if you are gainfully employed, 27% of employers scaled back pay rises this year. Bonuses and benefits took a hit too.

And, it's not even a lack of jobs. There are jobs out there! It's a lack of transparency in the process and a systems failures that hurt candidates and organisations alike.

So. Here we are.

Exhausted. Frazzled. Confused.

But if this sounds familiar, just know that you're not alone 💕

And I promise to keep pushing if you do too.

Looking for date ideas in Dublin...that don't involve a rake load of pints?! I got you ❤️

We headed to @throwingshapes___
Get ready to get messy!! Throwing Shapes on Mill Street is Dublin's first open-access ceramic studio... taster classes, courses, memberships and more.

Then we finished our day with a salty feed in @xianstreetfood . I was serving spice bag realness when I was covered in my dinner by the end of the date. She's a messy queen!!

I know we're coming to the end of Dry January, but sometimes it's still nice to have an option for a day out or a date that doesn't involve a skin full of pints. So here ya go!

We hit up @axeclubdub for an hour of throwing sharp objects and wooden walls. The lads were class, and honestly it was such a good time even if you've never done it before.

We then headed out to @daruma_malahide because sometimes it's nice just to get out of town. Malahide is gorgeous and I can't wait to see this spot in the summer time for barbecues 😍😍

When was the last time you were a tourist in you own city??

I absolutely adored being a tourist right here in Dublin with a recent visit to @stpatrickscathedraldublin

There's loads of ways you can see the cathedral. Wander on your own to light an oul candle, get an audio guided tour, or go all out with group visit.

✨ Story time! ✨

I've been looking for a way to shake up the content I share on social. I have so much I want to say, but I haven't been able to face speaking to camera since closing my business.

But more on that another day...👀

So here it is. A new approach.

I love style and using clothes as an act of rebellion. And I love spinning a yarn for anyone who is gracious enough to lend me their ears. And this is what happens when you put your hands together...

Today's story is a reminder to never stop pushing when it comes to the health of you or your loved ones. You will feel uncomfortable.
You will feel disruptive.
But no one will be a bigger advocate for you than you.

So.

We didn't come this far to only come this far.

I'm 7 days out from my surgery, and whether I like it or not, a disgusting amount of my recovery hours have been spent plugged into my phone.

Scroll. Scroll. Scroll.

The algorithm is huuuungry, and we feed it endlessly.

And it's not evil or sinister...it's indifferent.
As long as you're pleasing it, your content will be shared.
So we bend and twist and change...all the while feeding the beast.

What is the result?

Sameness.
We all speak in the language of sales, whether we like it or not. We get reach because we sound like everyone else. Familiarity over originality.

And don't get me wrong. My whole career is shaped by successfully feeding the beast.

But, I'm curious about true originality. Letting your imperfect arse hang out there a little. Letting the polish slip and maybe sacrificing "success" in favour of connection.

But...tell me...
