The time is finally here, and I’m so excited to announce that we are back with our 6th annual “HIP-HOP IN THE PARK FESTIVAL” Presented by @snipes_usa

This year is going to be super special as I got the one, the only, my guy, Philly’s very own DJ AKTIVE @djaktive headlining!!!

The list doesn’t end there, this year we have a slew of talent and underground Hip Hop legends performing such as:

3 months ago I went quiet not invisible.
 Sometimes you step back to realign, recharge, and remember why you do this in the first place.

For those who are new here, welcome. My name is Christian Alexis Rodriguez Pagan, also known as TAMEARTZ. I’m the son of Maria Dolores Maritza Pagan Rodriguez (RIP), born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Raised by culture, community, and resilience.

BORICUA by blood, spirit, and responsibility. My art isn’t just expression, it’s service. It’s about visibility, healing, pride, and giving voice to the people and places that shaped me.

I don’t chase clout or trends. I move with purpose, with community in mind, and with deep respect for where I come from and who I represent. Every event, every wall, every project, every message is rooted in that truth.

To my day-ones, thank you for holding space.
To the naysayers, thank you for keeping me current. To the new followers, welcome to the journey.

During my time away, I went back to the source.

Puerto Rico wasn’t a vacation, it was my reset. Painting, listening, observing, and soaking up my island with my people, my family and my culture.

Every color, every line, every symbol carries that energy.

The coquí, the palms, the heat, the Taíno symbols, the stories, you don’t visit that… you feel it.

This wall is part of that journey. A reminder that my art will always be rooted in where I come from, no matter where I paint.

Big respect to my brothers @abe_bx @bronx.team @cans.one.pr for putting the battery on my back to help shape this year’s production.

This production was an homage to our Taíno roots, moving with the spirit of the Cacique, leadership grounded in responsibility, not ego.

Cada línea, cada capa, cada pausa tuvo peso y fue pintada con orgullo!

No rush. No shortcuts. Just process, memory, and purpose on the wall.

Esto es ancestral.
Esto es calle.
Esto es para nuestra gente.

The time has come!!!

We have been swamped and busy making plans for this year’s rollout. Sometimes starting a little late is a blessing cause GOD will show up and show out!

Here is a list of all the events we have been planning.

Some of you were at the July 9th Bowling Takeover with @nicoosomusic and know how we got down!

• Next up is tomorrow July 25th for a private listening party. We are bringing you @goody_gunz_ all invites went out and we are super excited to bring incredible music to y’all ears. Hosted by @northphillykane DJ sets by @thekidbearone and @djsatone and a special Podcast Q&A Moderated by @jl_ccm for @seriousrapshit

• Then next Thursday July 30th 6-9pm we are taking over the @fitlerclub for a special Hip-Hop Panel Discussion with some Heavy weight Hip-Hop Practitioners MC @schoollydee DJ @djtatmoney Graff @juicy_jesc Breaking @therealraphaelxavier Moderated by @nikkiduncansmith, sounds by @thedjmikenyce and this is brought to you in partnership by @snipes_usa X @thhmuseum X @hiphopintheparkphl

• Then on August 5th we are heading to @iheartradio to take over @q102philly @nicoosomusic show and bring back the OG icon @djjayski to his old stomping grounds with MC’s @planetaryaotp @emeltz @trucknorth and @goody_gunz_

The 6th Annual @hiphopintheparkphl Festival (HHITP), founded by Philly artist, muralist, and community leader @tameartz , returns on Saturday, August 8, from 12 PM to 9 PM at Eakins Oval. Admission is free with RSVP.

This year’s festival is headlined by Philly’s own @djaktive — Janet Jackson’s tour DJ and one of the country’s most internationally recognized DJs

Presented by SNIPES and supported by No Phly Zone, Human Robot, BOTLD, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Philadelphia Flyers, and Red Bull, the festival brings together music, art, dance, food, and community programming for attendees of all ages.

The MC Lineup
An all-star roster of legendary and emerging MCs takes the stage throughout the day:

Craig G (Juice Crew Legend) | Mr. Eon (of the Legendary High & Mighty) | Outerspace (Army of the Pharaohs) | Goody Gunz | Truck North (from the Legendary Roots Crew) | KXNG Charisma & Elemxnt | plus additional surprise performances throughout the day

In life we deal with so much adversity that it can be draining. But life is beautiful and sometimes we forget how many obstacles we have overcome.

Being “VICTORIOUS” is something we can all relate to.

@goody_gunz_ and I have been working tirelessly lately on bringing folks some vibes and dope energy that we can’t wait to share with all of you.

GOD is the Greatest, Then US!

Today, I had the honor to host the 9th annual Barnes On The Block festival after a participating act for the past 4 years. @barnesfoundation

I was able to bring my team with me as well because there’s no I in team and when one wins we all win!!! S/o to @nicoosomusic and @zim.paki for setting the vibes early for us. Then to my bro @mellodramatic.eth for DJing along side of me for the entirety of the event. Huge s/o to my guys @projectpositive for coming through and shutting it down. Lastly to my bro, photographer and road warrior @seper215 aka @anthony_s_torcasio for coming through and capturing the moments for me.
