And just like that I made it through my first year of being a High School Speech Communications & Broadcast Journalism teacher. Believe me when I say I went in with a little fear and a little kicking and screaming, But thanks to my peeps my husband, my children, my sister , my mom, friends/family, and my students! I gained the courage to do it! Just like most jobs I’ve had it wasn’t always easy, but I now know that’s always been God’s way of developing skills needed for the journey 🙏🏽 I am truly grateful for my @bluffcityhighschool family who supported me in training and sharing wisdom this school year. And last but not least @marshonncalvin who has been one of the best in house teaching coaches a girl could ask for. He saved me on several days. I love you and your heart of gold 💛 Thanks for everyone’s continued prayers as I continue with next steps in my educational career. ✌🏽❤️🤗 by @tamelacalvin

2025 has been a year filled with moments where I had to pivot, many lessons learned,and moments of growth. Some moments of heartbreak 💔and some full circle moments. I am entering 2026 with a forgiving heart and a heart of repentance 🙏🏽 My prayer is for good health, prosperity and joy to find all of my family/friends! This weekend owes me nothing.. First Congratulations to our daughter Micah @official_mc3 on her college graduation BS in Leisure and Sports Management. We are super proud of you and pray that God continues blessing your life and career. Thank you to our family friends who have supported her and our family over the years . It truly takes a village..
