This beauty had a birthday too yesterday, but she was at Lake Powell so we celebrated today! Erin is an amazing wife and mom and the best daughter! We’re so grateful for her in our family! The last few pics on this post happened within a week! Taft graduated from UVU, Erin gave birth to our sweet Adaline a few days later, and the morning after she got home from the hospital she came to Ashlie’s wedding with her newborn and toddler in tow! My beautiful Y2K baby is 26 today! I can’t believe it! Abby is everything good in this world! She is gorgeous, kind, loving, smart, funny, and creative! We miss her so much but we’re so grateful for the time we get to spend in Hawaii to visit them every year! It has become one of my favorite places in the world. We’re halfway through 2026 and here are some of my favorite reads this year! I’m pretty stingy with my 5 star ratings, a book really needs to wow me for 5 stars! Some of these were physical reads, some I listened to on Audible. I always have a few books I’m reading/listening to, and a few hundred on my TBR! Some of them have heavy content or spice—nothing too crazy, but always check your trigger warnings before you read! Just because I love a book, doesn’t mean you will too! Our beach week in Oceanside was so much fun! We got to have everyone there except for Abby and Alex, 🥹 and it was so fun to have all the grandkids with us this year! My kids grew up coming here to this same place every year, and it’s so fun to watch them bring their kids to the beach! Todd’s whole family comes so they got to meet lots of new cousins! Now that we live in Utah, we love this time to be together with our family and catch up with everyone! I’m always sad to leave—the beach is definitely my happy place! This is 52!! In just the last few weeks we’ve had a mission call, a new grandbaby born, a wedding, a graduation, and two birthdays! Talk about a whirlwind of emotions! Middle age is not for the weak of heart. I’m so grateful we were able to have so much of our family here during that busy time! My mom and dad and sisters were here and helped me so much. Many of Todd’s brothers and sisters were able to make the trip as well. And it was so great to have Todd’s parents here not only for the wedding, but for Jack’s graduation, so they were able to come with us to celebrate my birthday! The best part was having Abby and Alex here so all my people were together for a hot minute to support and care for one another! It is always good for my momma heart to have all my kids together in one place, even if it’s only for a short time! Abby even made time to bake me this AMAZING 4 layer chocolate cake with the most delicious frosting I’ve ever had! I was fat and happy on my birthday! So grateful for another year in this incredible world being loved by the BEST PEOPLE! This life is beautiful indeed! I am a lucky girl! 🥳🎉 by @tami.allen

Just like that—HE’S A GRADUATE! When you’re a mom and you make your kids your whole life, it’s honestly so hard to watch as the last one grows up and leaves the nest. But here we are, and we’re so damn proud! We raised 6 whole humans! And now, I’m learning how to let go of control, have a seat in the audience, and watch them become who they are destined to be! Jack has been a joy to raise every step of the way. He is kind, thoughtful, and funny. He is a hard worker and a loyal friend. As the baby of 6, he was raised by lots of big sisters who were more like his second moms. He has a soft and tender side to him that not everyone sees, but that I’ve seen over and over. He still tells me he loves me every day. He still gives me hugs and worries about me if I’m in a bad mood. He is a good listener and the sweetest son. He is such a good dancer, is always up to make a dumb TikTok.He has the best taste in music and the most chill Spotify playlists.He is so stylish and he’s the best at finding good deals on Depop! He proved to me this year that yes—you CAN have 70 absences and still graduate!! It’s been such a busy few weeks that I haven’t even processed the fact that he’s leaving soon for his mission, but it makes me teary just thinking about him being gone. I am so grateful for him in our family, and for the wonderful son, brother, and uncle that he is! We love you Jack! Can’t wait to watch your dreams come true! We are your biggest cheerleaders! I’m so behind this week in posting, but wanted to make a post celebrating my newest son in law, Jon for his birthday on Tuesday! What an exciting few weeks we’ve had with their wedding, Jon purchasing a new cabinet business, and his birthday! I’m just trying to catch up at this point! We love you Jon, and we’re so grateful to have you in our family! We’re so grateful for the wonderful Father you are to our little Harvey, and for being so good to Ashlie and making her so happy! On Thursday last week we were watching Eleanor so Erin could go to her OB appointment and she FaceTimed me in tears. I was worried at first, but then she told me she was dilated to a 6 and the doctor was making her go to the hospital because this baby was coming a few weeks early! We all scrambled to get Eleanor home and a bag packed and 5 hours later this sweet little baby, Adaline Sue Lewis joined our family weighing in at 6 lbs. 9 oz.! Erin was a champ, and Taft was a seasoned veteran! This new little sweetheart is SO LUCKY to have them as parents! Erin went home from the hospital Friday night at 11 pm and showed up to watch Ashlie’s wedding ceremony at 10 am the next morning after a horrible night with a newborn. We sent her home to bed after pictures, but it was so sweet of her to show up for her sister one day after giving birth! We are so grateful to have sweet little Adaline here safely and Eleanor is such a cute big sister! I love being a Grammy!!#GrammyTami🧡 by @tami.allen

Had to make a post about the incredible trip we took to Italy! We started planning this trip last year with two of Jack’s cousins who are seniors this year, Wrigley and Stacia, and I was so glad they chose Italy! Todd’s family had a trip planned for April 2020, then COVID hit and it was canceled. So I was so excited to finally get to go!We had Lois from @tahiti_adventures help us with the planning, and it was everything I dreamed of and more! From the time we stepped off the plane, we had everything in place for us. Transportation, activities, beautiful hotels, and amazing tour guides. Lois worked with us every step of the way to plan things that the teenagers would love! We had so much fun on our Vespa sidecar tour and felt like celebrities riding around Rome. We did an incredible cooking class where we made homemade pizza and gelato. We had gondola rides in Venice, and stayed in the cutest boutique hotel. We went to Murano and saw how they make blown glass. We got to see Pompeii and do two private boat tours on the Amalfi Coast (the kids favorite tours of course). All of our transfers and train tickets were already bought so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We just showed up and had the most amazing time! Italy was a dream, and I can’t wait to go back. The people were so friendly, the food was incredible, and the company was top notch! I can’t believe this is our last senior trip! We’re going to be empty nesters so so soon. It’s true what they say—they grow up too fast! Don’t blink! 😉 by @tami.allen
