My second season in NRW!!💫 With preparations for the next season already underway, it finally feels like time for a season announcement👀 Coming into my second year in the opera studio, I am even more excited to dive into new and exciting(!!) role debuts: I’ll be debuting two title characters in fairytale operas in Wuppertal🥨🫛: Gretel in Humperdinck’s classic „Hänsel & Gretel“ and the foreign princess (on the pea) in Toch’s children’s opera „Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse”. I’ll also be diving into gorgeous music by Puccini and Korngold in „Tosca“ and „Das Wunder der Heliane“ in Gelsenkirchen and Essen, and rounding off the season back in Wuppertal as Adele - a feisty, fun coloratura dream that I’ve been working toward for a while now🪭🫧✨ This past season has already been such a dream come true and I‘m looking forward to sharing more! photo by @ralpheebelushi by @taminabiber
What a rush!!💐💫 I’m still buzzing from last night’s incredible experience performing with the @sinfonieorchesterbasel under the baton of @samyrachid_conductor ! It was such an honor to share the stage with so many wonderful musicians. Thank you @musikakademiebasel_hsm_fhnw for making this experience possible, and thank you to everyone who came to listen!🙏🏼💛 I’ll definitely remember this night forever✨ (The full recording is coming soon!) Now, time to prepare for my final recital here in Basel and for my first role debut in Dortmund… by @taminabiber
‘lil throwback reel to commemorate my professional debut as Barbarina💞 I think every soprano has a soft spot for this precious cavatina🥹 She’s simple, fragile and gorgeous, and it’s where it all began for so many of us. by @taminabiber

A day in the life Hänsel und Gretel edition! 🍭 Since I take photos all the time anyways, I thought I’d make a little reel to commemorate this exciting day! Yesterday was huge for me🥹 I got to sing Gretel with a full orchestra for the first time and finally stepped into the iconic production at @operwuppertal It all felt quite surreal after spending all of 2026 practicing her alone or with a piano and I’m so happy and proud with how it all came together. I am still kind of stunned, ecstatic and incredibly honored that I get to sing this amazing role soon. Toitoitoi to everyone involved in the Wiederaufnahme on Saturday!🍓🥨 I can’t wait to see you all on 🗓️Oct. 25th / 16:00 🗓️Dec. 12th / 18:00 Not included in this reel: - two delayed trains - a not so comfy nap on some chairs at the theatre by @taminabiber
It‘s been about a week since returning from Canada and my heart is still so full❤️ Some people know that my family and I lived in Vancouver from when I was around 4 to 7 years old, and although that may not have been a very long period of time, it was really formative for my brother and me. We grew up reading Canadian children’s books and watching YTV, we still speak English as a family, and when meeting other Canadians in Europe, I still feel a sense of ease and familiarity. Living so close to my Taiwanese side of the family (they still live in Vancouver) was one of the most beautiful and heartwarming periods of my childhood to look back on. So Vancouver has always felt like a little piece of both sides of my cultural background and one of the most beautiful places on earth. My memories of the city felt so rosy and romanticized that I wasn’t sure if our visit would live up to them. It actually did. Returning to this special place as an adult for the first time was such a trippy experience. I remembered so many small details: street signs, childhood snacks, old buildings, and smells of food and the ocean. It was so fun to walk down memory lane while at the same time discovering the city all over again as an adult. Mostly, what makes this city so special, though, is family, and I’m eternally grateful for that. There isn’t a day I don’t miss my grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Vancouver will always have a piece of my heart, and I‘m already counting down the days until I can return🥰♾️❤️ Until then, I‘ll miss the city and everyone inside it! 🎬 Little excerpt from our gala concert back in May💖 I felt a bit torn about sharing, since there is still so much work and exploration ahead of me with her… Since May, I have continued working on this excerpt, and there are already many things that I would do differently now. However, singing this aria with a full orchestra for the first time was such an exhilarating experience that I feel it should be celebrated🍾 And despite my Adele still being a work in progress, every step towards bringing this wonderful character to life is so exciting!! I still can’t believe that I’ll get the chance to make my debut in Fledermaus next February @operwuppertal 🥹✨ The amount of fun I‘ll have with this operetta😮‍💨🤌🏼 Full stream of the concert, including the full aria and my duet with @hanzicong1 , is available on @operavision.eu and their youtube. Link is in my bio ❤️‍🔥✨ by @taminabiber

That‘s a wrap on the 2025/26 season!💐 (lots of mirror selfies were taken) 🧚🏻‍♀️Wore the largest and most fun rococo wig ever, time travelled to the 60s, as a ginger, played an all-knowing genderless deity and finally, a giant bird. Also met some cool people along the way and got to sing a lot of Mozart🥰💞 So much gratitude for my mentors, family, friends, and the universe!! Preparations for next season have already begun… (AHHH!!) by @taminabiber
A beautiful evening at the Lesegesellschaft Basel playing Italian, Spanish and French songs with @daniel.daiu.guitar ❤️ Hope to make music together again soon!!🧚🏻‍♀️ Sang in Spanish and Venetian for the first time and got to dust off my rusty Italian in between. Grazie alla Società Dante Alighieri per il gentile invito! È stato un grande piacere🥰 by @taminabiber
