It was 19 years ago that I was blessed to meet you. You made me a Nana and I will never ever forget that or take our relationship for granted. I have watched you grow in so many ways and overcome challenges that you weren't expecting but in time you have developed into someone we are deeply proud of. One of many tasks as I prepare to fly to Cyprus in the morning to bring 20 Cypriot teens here thriugh our Creating Friendships for Peace, Inc. Program. 20 shirts travel with me and the others were mailed out to our 3 other hosting areas in Wilmington NC. The Woodlands TX and Brush Prairie WA. We all get here on July 17. Trip pics to follow. I am not sure how time flies so freaking fast but my son Bryan Nelson turned 40 today. I remember ever so clearly the day you were born Bryan. One of the best days ever of my life. You are an amazing Son, Uncle and Adult. You have given me a few grey hairs but have equally saved me from a few. I am very proud to be your Momma at so many levels. Here's to many more birthdays. On this day 37 years ago my daughter Diann Burke was born in Yakima. WA. Like most parents its a day I will never forget. When I heard she was a girl I knew God had answered my second prayer the first being a healthy baby. We didnt know about or do gender reveals then. I always wanted a boy and a girl and I got what I wanted. Curly you are a fabulous sibling, daughter, wife and Mother. Diann you bring immense laughter along with Allison Burke of course because you two are a comedic duo at every level. You are smart, assertive but with tact, compassionate, OCD yes I blame myself for that, but I never had to pick up after you so I am ok with it, family is everything to you as it should be. You were raised to be productive and giving and to not need us as parents other than for random advice on occasion and how to cook, but not pies cause my kids know I am not a pie person and have never made one. I hope you have a wonderful day and I have no doubt Allison will spoil you. I love you. Mom. by @tammy.haas

Been a very busy outdoor weekend. We are still working on a section of our yard, roughly 750sf of grass that after grueling work is out. Once its fully done I will take pics. We have spent two weekends on it and our lawn grew like mad in the meantime. That was our first task was mowing then back to our project today. We intend to have our project done by next weekend. Meanwhile here is our very nice mowed lawn and our very pretty Vitek tree with lavender blooms. Soooo pretty. by @tammy.haas
