We’re proud to highlight St. Vilia Philbert-Serville (Tammy) a powerful example of resilience, growth, and excellence in the Caribbean.

From Marchand, Saint Lucia 🇱🇨, Tammy began her journey at Entrepot Secondary School, where her love for English and strong foundation in the Arts helped shape her voice and confidence. Though she was still discovering her path at the time, her experiences laid the groundwork for what was to come.

She started her career in telecommunications, taking on promotional roles and quickly rising to represent her company across multiple islands for major product launches. Through continuous growth and embracing new opportunities, Tammy has become one of the women dominating the ICT space in the Caribbean.

A Certified Sales Professional through the Canadian Professional Sales Association, she has built a strong reputation for securing complex, strategic deals. Her journey has taken her through telecommunications and hospitality, eventually returning to Digicel in a role that required relocation. Where she continues to thrive and has earned two major awards across two markets within the past three years.

Her path has not been without challenges. She had to knock on many doors, navigate stereotypes as a woman in business, and prove herself time and time again. But through mentorship, resilience, and the strong foundation of her upbringing, she has continued to rise with confidence and determination.

The older you get, the more peace becomes a priority. Once you've gotten a taste of it, you crave more of it. Anything that isn't aligned with it becomes easy to omit from your life. Cheers to an abundance of peace, health, and grand opportunities for personal and professional growth. This new week in my new chapter, I know surely goodness and mercy shall follow me. As the day comes to an end, I'm eternally grateful for the blessing of another 365 days around the sun. I'm basking in the peace and wisdom that comes with experience. Each day is a blessing, and I've become more intentional about how I spend my time. Aging is a privilege denied to many, so I fully embrace every change that comes gracefully. Bring a little sparkle everywhere you go. Never fail to be the star that you are. Happiness is an inside job. Don't allow yourself to be robbed of it. In 2025, be intentional about the life you want to live and the way you want to feel. Do not make excuses about things that do not feel right while entertaining it. Above all else, heal, it's the best gift you can give to yourself and those who genuinely care about you. Happy new chapter, may we pray more and do better overall! It's a blank canvas. Celebrating special moments! It's such a beautiful thing to find community in the sisterhood. The joys of celebrating milestones and winning collectively. It's amazing how we learn patience and acceptance through life's experiences. I've always marched to the beat of my own drum and took my time at every stage of my life. I had patience when I didn't know that's what it was, as I never competed because I don't compare. Every stage of your life is preparing you for the next one. What you learn now will be so useful for where you're headed. Embrace the setbacks, the disappointments, and losing people along the journey. It's sad when we learn that people are in our lives for seasons, especially those we've grown to love and admire. I'm learning that it's not personal. It's just life. So, bask in the beautiful memories and have no hard feelings about it. It's all for your best. God knows some things will hinder more than they help your next level growth experience. I've already asked God to go before me so I can follow. It is done, with great expectation of an amazing day, week, month, and year in his mighty, matchless name. He did not give us a spirit of fear, but of POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND MIND! Stand in your power and seek no permission to be who the almighty has called you to be. The older I get, the more fierce and fearless I become. I focus more on what God says about me as opposed to the opinions of others. I feel great being in the minority if it means compromising on my values. It's amazing how your discernment is heightened, and while you react differently, you never miss the lesson taught from the situation. Stay calm while God blesses you. Never love the blessing more than you love the giver of it, or he will humble you. Be grateful for how far you've come but remain under his covering for we wrestle, not against flesh. We often see the face of the oppressor, but the breakthrough is attached to overcoming the spirit that operates within them. Above all, guard your heart! God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love and a sound mind.
