🚨 CRUISE RULE # 1: DO NOT MISS THE SHIP! 🚢

Baby… I was on my balcony in Costa Maya, minding MY business, when I looked down and saw two people RUNNING FOR THEIR LIFE! 🏃🏃💨

⏰ All Aboard: 6:30 PM
👀 Them: Running down the pier at 6:33 PM

Listen…when they say ALL ABOARD at 6:30, that’s EXACTLY what they mean! Because one thing about a cruise ship…THE SHIP WILL LEAVE YOU! ✌🏾

And YESSSS…they made it! 🙌🏾🤭

Cruisers, I need to know…have you EVER had to run back to the ship? 👀👇🏾

Because one thing about ME…I DO NOT play about that All Aboard time! I’m getting back on that ship! 😊

SOUL FOOD SUNDAY: A HIDDEN GEM IN NORTHWEST HOUSTON! 🌆

They say there’s food for the body AND food for the soul… and baby, I think I found one of my new favorite soul food spots! 🙌🏾

I recently stopped by @o_tasteandsee_eatery in Northwest Houston, a family-owned, Black woman-owned restaurant serving up scratch-made Southern comfort food with a Cajun-Creole twist. 🍗🍝

The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and homey, with nostalgic soul music playing and handwritten family recipes displayed on the walls. It definitely gives you that “come on in and get you a plate” feeling! 🖤

And listen… I’ve eaten here several times, and the food has been ON POINT every time! 👏🏾

My favorites....
✨ Meatloaf
✨ Famous Cajun Pasta
✨ Peach Cobbler — because we NEED something sweet after we eat! 😂

They offer dine-in, takeout, online ordering, catering, and personal chef services for lunch and dinner. 👩🏽‍🍳

✨ FINE DINING TO SEE IN HOUSTON ✨

I recently visited The Chef’s Table River Oaks, and from the food to the service and atmosphere, it was definitely an experience worth sharing!

The restaurant offers a beautiful bar and dining space, plenty of seating, convenient parking, and an extensive menu featuring globally inspired dishes, handcrafted cocktails, vegan-friendly options, and desserts.

I started with the Strawberry Lemon Drop and it was soooo good! 🍸🍓😋

For appetizers, we tried the Vleis Pastei, a flaky pastry filled with curried beef and served with mango chutney, along with the TCT Wings with a spicy orange glaze. 🍗

For dinner, we had the Hot Honey Salmon with five-cheese whipped potatoes and the Karoo Lamb Porter — tender, flavorful, and grilled beautifully. 🍽

And dessert? The Sticky Toffee Pudding was so good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture! 😫😂

Also our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, the chef, and the restaurant’s story, which made the experience even better. 👨🏽‍🍳

5 stars across the board from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

DO Y’ALL THINK DESTINY’S CHILD WILL EVER MAKE A COMEBACK? 👀🎶

Because after this night…I’m ready! 😂🎤

I recently attended the Candlelight: Destiny’s Child Iconic Reimagined Tribute, narrated by Mathew Knowles, and it was such a beautiful celebration of one of the most iconic girl groups in music history. 🕯🕯

Surrounded by thousands of candles, we enjoyed reimagined versions of Destiny’s Child classics—and babeeee, the audience sang those songs DOWN TO THE GROUND! 😂 The nostalgia, the energy, and the music were EVERYTHING!

I also loved how classy and intimate the entire experience was. And the gworls AND the guys came out looking GOODT! 💅🏾✨

HEY GIRL, HEY! WELLNESS LOOKS GOOD ON US! 🧘🏾‍♀️

As we get older, taking care of our bodies becomes even more important. It’s not just about looking good and it’s about being intentional about our overall wellness and making sure we’re giving our bodies the nutrients they need. ✨

🚢 UNPACK WITH ME: Cruise Cabin Edition! 🧳

One of the FIRST things I do when I get into my cruise cabin is UNPACK! Because I refuse to live out of my suitcase for the entire cruise. 😂

Cruise cabins may be compact, but you’d be surprised at how much storage space they have! Between the closet, drawers, shelves, cabinets and storage under the bed, there’s a place for almost everything.

My routine:
🧳 Unpack EVERYTHING
👗 Hang up my outfits
👚 Fold & organize the rest
👡 Find a home for the shoes
🧴 Put away my toiletries
🧳 Store suitcases in the closet or under the bed

Once everything is unpacked and organized, NOW I can officially start my vacation! 🥂🌊🚢

Now I need to know…are you Team UNPACK or Team LIVE OUT THE SUITCASE? 😂👇🏾
