Justice for Adelaido! Yesterday, we gathered in front of HCSO headquarters to tell the the story of Adelaido's unjust arrest, detention, and abuse. Along with Adelaido's family, we exposed the discrepancies in the stories and reports from HCSO and Falkenburg Road Jail to the media. We uplifted Adelaido's family's ongoing demands for justice, transparency, and accountability. So far, every win for Adelaido had to be fought for and we will continue fighting for him until he gets the justice he deserves! There are many stories like Adelaido's especially in states where law enforcement works with ICE. Adelaido and his family has shown that when we fight, we win! Families impacted by ICE have the power to fight for justice and they have the power to win! Join the fight for immigrants rights today! *** ¡Justicia para Adelaido! Ayer, nos reunimos frente a la sede de HCSO para contar la historia del injusto arresto, detención y abuso de Adelaido. Junto con la familia de Adelaido, expusimos las discrepancias en las historias e informes de HCSO y Falkenburg Road Jail a los medios. Elevamos las continuas demandas de justicia, transparencia y responsabilidad de la familia de Adelaido. 📅 Monday 10/12 ⏰️ 7PM 📍 HCSO Headquarters (2008 E 8th Ave) JUSTICE FOR ADELAIDO! On August 2nd this year, Seffner husband and father, and Mexican immigrant, Adelaido Chavez Mariano was stopped by Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Ryan Fisher at a traffic stop. Deputies Fisher and Brennan Allen brutalized Adelaido, giving him a hematoma and bloody knees. Adelaido has repeatedly suffered medical neglect at the hands of multiple agencies. Adelaido was held at Falkenburg Road Jail before being transfered to Baker Correctional Institute, also known as "Deportation Depot". Adelaido was released from Baker on Friday October 2nd, but many of his family's demands have not been met! Join our press conference to demand justice for Adelaido, to share his story, and uplift his family's demands! *** ¡JUSTICIA PARA ADELAIDO! El 2 de agosto de este año, el esposo y padre de Seffner, y el inmigrante mexicano Adelaido Chávez Mariano, fueron detenidos por el ayudante del Diputado del Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Ryan Fisher, en una parada de tráfico. Los diputados Fisher y Brennan Allen brutalizaron a Adelaido, dándole un hematoma y rodillas ensangrentadas. Adelaido ha sufrido repetidamente negligencia médica a manos de múltiples agencias. Adelaido fue retenido en la cárcel de Falkenburg Road antes de ser transferido al Instituto Correccional Baker, también conocido como "Deportation Depot". He is home with his family and able to receive the medical care he needs.
