Started my senior year this week 🎉
Senior year, senior honors thesis, grad school apps, and the 4 hours of daily commuting. Just one more year, I can do this.
A professor asked if there were any seniors in the class. I raised my hand. He said “oh I didn’t mean senior citizens.” I made an offended noise, then laughed and said nah it’s all good, I’m both.
Man I am 46, not 90 😂

Dropped Nora off at college today. I am so happy for her and proud of her, and I know she’s going to settle in beautifully.
She will in fact end me if I post our terrible selfies from the day, and honestly I’m not to keen on doing that either lol. So here is a bitmoji of us being very posh indeed.
Love you, Bean ❤️ by @tamsen.c

Field school = a month living and working with a very cool group of humans. Seriously, I am so looking forward to keeping up with where the next few years take these folks. Hopefully many of us will cross paths at conferences and other such fancy academic events, or find ourselves in a dusty pit somewhere reliving the good old days in Odorhei ❤️ by @tamsen.c
