I joined Apex looking to get more involved in my community here at A&M. I felt like I hadn’t been living up to my full potential and didn’t want to leave college feeling like I could have done more. I’m proud to say that not only have I felt fulfilled in doing community service and getting more involved at A&M, but I’ve thrived in my time with Apex. 💌 Next up our most amazing beautiful precious ✨ Miss Vice President AVERY BITTNER 💌 Avery is a senior Biology Major with a minor in Psychology (OKAY WOMEN IN STEM 💁‍♀️) from Amarillo, TX! I joined APEX my sophomore year because I wanted to meet new people and find a group that I really felt a part of at Texas A&M. Now being in my third year, some of my absolute favorite college memories and friendships have come from APEX. I’ve stayed because I really love the people and the community that we’ve built, and it’s been really special getting to grow alongside the org and now have the chance to give back to something that’s given me so much! by @tamuapex

Some of my friends were already in APEX and I thought I would go to a meeting and a social and see what it was like. Immediately, I felt so welcome by everybody and felt like I was making genuine friendships so quickly. I struggled to find a close-knit group at A&M before finding exactly what I was looking for in APEX. There are potential friends in this organization for literally any type of person, and it’s amazing how versatile yet connected everyone is. The size of the club makes it easy to actually get to know and bond with everyone, while the variety of events gave me the opportunity to find people who genuinely match who I am. If you’re looking for an organization that feels like one big friend group, APEX is exactly that. 💚 by @tamuapex

I initially joined APEX to serve the CSTAT community while making meaningful connections with others. But, what made me stay and become an officer of APEX was how welcomed I have felt being a part of this organization. I hate online classes! I’d rather sit in a lecture than try to do something asynchronous. I also hate laptops in class put it away!!

💚Why APEX?💚
Tamu org life is hard. You can get rejected from things that are seen as inclusive and it’s hard to find your perfect fit when your not even sure what your looking for. In APEX I found that everyone is super down to earth and is able to balance a lively social life whilst still making good grades focusing on school. It feels good to be apart of something so close knit yet still fun. They know what’s happening on campus they can help whenever and it can be low commitment if that’s what you want out of it! by @tamuapex

Next up! It’s MISS 🌸ZOË FENLEY!!🌸 Zoë is a Junior Physics Major. She got 5 parking tickets her first week of freshman year (ouch! 💸💸). Works with Dr. Tatianna on physics outreach, and once met Zendaya!!

My fish camp partner when I was a first year was in APEX, so many of us from our camp joined to hangout together. Once I joined I made friends far beyond the ones I came in with. APEX has pushed me to feel comfortable outside of my comfort zone and has given me so many great role models and friends! by @tamuapex
