It’s amazing as a society we don’t often recognise ANYTHING can be an addiction, the acting out is the symptom & coping mechanism to what is going on. Can I be addicted to social media? Food? Gaming? Shopping? …Yes

Not just your why? But what’s the pain? What’s missing that causes you to have the overriding obsessive thought to change the way you feel? What’s the pay off? What are the consequences of your actions?

The acting out activity is not what makes you an addict or amount of time using, or quantity, but the relationship with it does.
A heavy drinker doesn’t make you an alcoholic but your negative relationship with it does. Question the motive might be a good way to look at what’s going on.

I can’t contain myself I’m so excited. Everyone has worked soo hard on this feature film. Thank you to those who have supported me. For Ryan taking a chance on me, this is my second movie, first main role and I’ve been cast in two more this year and another next year🤯 going with it. Still a therapist though 🤣 👌🏽

A great reminder why I remain sober ODAAT seeing opportunities rather than limited beliefs and isolation
