Red Lantern FM Episode 16 is here 🏮This one feels also special. We’re excited to welcome @tanggero.live , now based in Amsterdam, bringing a sound that moves from groovy house and disco into raw techno. Rooted in Manila’s sweat-soaked dance floors at Annex House, his sets shift between live hardware sessions and deep vinyl digging. Loose grooves, tight floors, no filler✨✨✨

In his own words, this mix is about storytelling. A return to something older than clubs and playlists, when people gathered around a fire, sharing chants, rhythms, and memories of where they came from. Here, that spirit comes through artists weaving traditional instruments into electronic layers. Rhythmic and textured, yet still atmospheric. Like rain. 🌧️

Different fires, different languages, same impulse. 🔥

Was digging through some techno crates and to my surprise there was this record from @alinepmusic - a resident back then at the legendary club Time in Manila. Pre-Covid nights were something else and I’m glad he’s still kicking it and being a master of his craft. This mix is dedicated to all the friends I met in that XX to Time era, gone but not forgotten.
