🧠 Art galleries were a better option in earlier days. People who came to add 'views' would be considered valuable even if they said nothing about the art. At least they made an effort to visit.

Now views (if the algorithm feels happy about you) mean nearly nothing and a simple heart/comment, which is totally free, is the most expensive thing. Adios.

I don't hate AI. I've said this a thousand times I guess. But I don't like to use ai to make art. I use it to improve my skills in art, to get knowledge and to make this animation 😅

I felt so accomplished after finishing this one. This is colored version of an earlier drawing I made with pen at work. I recreated it but of course when you recreate your own earlier work, there are elements which are new.

Also you have grown as a person and as artist during the time between both drawings, so some change is inevitable, or rather I would say it's refreshing to see that change. I will post both version side by side another day.

Sometimes a drawing doesn’t go the way you planned…

This piece took its own path - through mistakes, recoveries, and small discoveries.

Watching it come together, detail by detail, felt like raising something rather than just making it.

The quiet joy of owning your creation.

To create is one of the greatest gifts given to us.

What we make becomes more than an object, it becomes something like a child.

We watch it take shape, we struggle with it, we protect it, and in the end we feel a quiet, stubborn joy every time we see it again.

No matter what others may say about it, it remains ours.

We made it. We know its imperfections and its beauty.

And that private happiness of simply owning what we brought into the world is a rare and gentle kind of love.

I messed up this drawing today… but it was such a relief that I could recover it.

It’s interesting how mistakes can completely change the direction of an artwork from what you originally planned.

No one will ever know what it was supposed to be though 😅

We keep running.
Trying to outrun Time...
something that was never meant to be caught.

Time is faster.
And far more cruel.

This piece was born while listening to Pink Floyd’s “Time.”

“And you run and you run
to catch up with the sun…
Shorter of breath
and one day closer to death.”

Some demons never fully die.
They wait in the dark,
patient and hungry,
until we finally give them form.

Getting there...

I started drawing because I wanted to slow down in life but yet I did the opposite. My pace went up from the previous one because social media does this thing to you. But while working on this daemon drawing, I'm glad I realized this. I made a promise to myself to enjoy art as it comes and not let myself flooded by others appreciation (read likes).
