MONT BLANC ⚡️🏔️ not as planned but unforgettable
May 28 — Mont Blanc via the Three Monts.

The goal was to reach the summit then fly back down in speedriding.

We started up the first face of the Tacul a little before 9 a.m. After a long day, we reached the summit of Mont Blanc around 5 p.m.

And that’s when everything changed.

We got caught in the cloud, without fully realizing how strongly the storm was building around us. Then lightning struck close to the summit. We heard that electric buzzing sound that warning lightning was about to strike that exact spot.

So we ran to take shelter in a crevasse, leaving our gear behind on the summit.

For nearly an hour and a half, lightning was striking all around us. We really thought it was our last moment on earth.
In total we spent almost 4 hours at 4,800 meters.

When the cumulonimbus finally discharged and started to break apart, the summit rose above the clouds. The sea of clouds was beautiful, but it still kept us from flying down into the valley.

It was 8:30 p.m. We put our crampons back on and started descending toward the Vallot refuge, thinking we would have to spend the night there.

Then, around 9:10 p.m., after putting us through everything, Mont Blanc gave us probably the most beautiful run of our lives.

Fresh snow laid down by the storm. Unreal light. Deep exhaustion. And that feeling of flying when, just an hour earlier, we were still wondering if we would even make it back down.

It might not have been the most committed flight.
But it was definitely my favourite of all time

Turbo soaring — the extreme sport almost nobody does, yet one of the most insanely fun things you can experience.

When nature unleashes itself on you, don’t try to fight it — learn to surf the wave.

The speed, the wind, the energy, the feeling of flying with absolutely nothing holding you back… it’s hard to even put into words.

I wish everyone could feel this at least once in their life, even if I know that’s basically impossible.

You have no idea what you’re missing.

Landing on that tiny raft is all about precision it really pushes your piloting skills and makes the challenge even more fun.

And doing the whole run throwing barrels without ever really flattening out to set up the landing… pretty happy with this one 😏

Next year, I’m bringing something really special. Get ready we’re coming back to put on a show. 🔥

FLAT DOUBLE BARREL 😂
Zero horizontal speed. Zero altitude loss.

Big turbo soaring session.
We rarely fly in conditions this strong, but having that much energy and maneuverability is just insane.

Nothing in the world is more fun than this.

What an incredible @acroshow_villeneuve
To the crowd, the organizers, the amazing volunteers, and of course every pilot who made this happen.

A show like this only exists because of all of us. Without the pilots, there’s no show. Without the organization and volunteers, nothing happens. And without the crowd, none of it would feel the same.

Together, we created something pretty special, and I truly hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

For me, though, this weekend meant something even deeper.

Growing up, I was often the little red-haired kid nobody really cared about. The easy one to make fun of, put down, or humiliate.

Somewhere along the way, I started dreaming about being able to shine one day. To make people laugh, impress them, share something with them, and become the showman I had always imagined being.

This weekend, for a few moments, I genuinely felt like I had become that person.

Not just because people were watching, cheering or clapping, but because I felt exactly where I was supposed to be, sharing what I love most with people who wanted to live it with me.

That feeling means more to me than I can explain.

There’s also some sadness in moments like this. I wish my dad, my grandmother, and so many other people could have seen where life has taken me. I would have loved so much to share moments like this with them.

But I’m pretty sure they would be proud of me today.

So I’ll keep going. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. My friends, the people who supported me, the ones who laugh at my stupid jokes, the ones who enjoy the way I fly, the ones who push me forward, and everyone who gives me a little bit of their energy and attention.

There’s still a long way to go.

But this weekend, that little red-haired kid was pretty damn happy. ❤️ by @tanguide_

SUNSET, BEER & BARREL 🌅🍺 Do you wanna a friend like me for your sunset session ?😂

At the end of the day, we’re all stuck on this tiny spaceship, floating somewhere in the endless universe.

Whether we do it or not probably won’t change much in the grand scheme of things.

So we might as well live.
Chase the stupid ideas.
Visit the places we dream about.
Share sunsets, beers and moments that make us feel truly alive.

Maybe we’ll leave the tiniest trace behind.
Maybe we won’t.
And one day, nobody will remember any of it anyway.

So enjoy the ride while you’re here. 🚀

Maybe this is the real reason we fly.

It’s crazy how this sport brings together completely different kinds of people.

Those who stack thousands of laps under a gondola.
Those who hike for hours for a single flight.
The calm ones, the crazy ones, the idiots, the smart ones, the loud ones, the quiet ones.
Those who fly aggressively, those who keep it smooth.

We don’t all experience the mountains the same way, and we definitely don’t all fly the same way.

But the moment our feet leave the ground, every problem in the world seems to disappear. For a short while, nothing else exists. The mind goes quiet, and we simply get to be fully alive in the moment.

Different people. Different styles. Same feeling. 🪽
