Ad | do you already know the concept of microadventures ? It’s the simple idea that you can do something small, close to your home, in nature, to break off your routine and to experience something new.

It’s something I absolutely love and try to implement regularly during the work week: it gives you a mini holiday and leaves you refreshed and recharged, ready to tackle the next day :)

Ad | nothing recharges my batteries more than reconnecting with nature, taking the time to feel, breathe, be.

When going on micro-adventures, I love keeping it super simple with a minimal set-up. No tent if not necessary, a simple foam pad, one mug that I also use as a bowl, a lightweight cutlery set and the new snack bites from @familia_muesli , that are both delicious and super practical when on the go ( they’re available at Coop in the cereal aisle).

I’ve been bivouacking with my dad since I am a kid and these memories belong to my favorite ones. However, as outdoor activities are becoming more and more popular, we have to be even more careful on how we interact with nature to preserve its beauty and fragile environment.

Please remember: bivouac only where it’s allowed, and always check local and protected-area regulations beforehand.
Leave ZERO trace (yes, even bio-waste). Take all waste with you, even if it doesn’t belong to you and don’t leave toilet paper behind.
Avoid sensitive habitats, wetlands, floodplains, and wildlife protection zones and ask permission when appropriate (which is what I did in this instance).
 Keep your distance from wildlife and livestock; never feed wild animals.
 Keep noise and lights to a minimum.
 Check local fire restrictions and avoid fires in general.
 Set up late, pack up early, and keep your stay to a minimum. 
Enjoy the mountains, but leave them as you found them 🫶🏼🫶🏼
