Jumping on the 2016 trend for a minute.

That year sucked for me. Awful job, I sprained my foot, I was in an (unknown to me) failing marriage and my partner was in the hospital for a month plus, and I was barely surviving.

But, there was lots of board games, I loved that apartment, very important people were still around, and I was knitting so dang much.

Life changes, a great example. And yes, I still look exactly the same…. by @taniadoesstuff

I literally have not finished any #knitsweaters this whole year - or any knit object at all. However, I did finally get #fophotos for my two #rhinebecksweater from last year.

The first is the Riverlands pullover by @jessicamknits in @hudsonandwestco yarn.

The second sweater is the Glenwood pullover by @knitwithcheryltoy in @redstagfibre yarn.

A week before @flockfiberfestival I was like, “Hey, I can knit a #stickseasonsweater by @the.creabea in a week in @explorerknits” largely because I had a SQ of Ali’s “Pike Place” colorway. Fast forward to me being sick all throughout WA and running against the clock to finish the sweater to get pictures before leaving town.

We took photos at @pikeplacepublicmarket before I finished my second sleeve entirely and I wound yarn on my lap and finished said sleeve an hour later at Kerry Park in Seattle.

FINALLY got some finished object pictures of the #calivadashawl by @kaceyknits in @labienaimee that I bought at @awoolenaffair last year.

LOVE this shawl so much I added pom poms. Never a bad idea right? Also shout out to my @explorerknits sweater getting some wear in late June?
