Is it true that talking to your muscles makes you more successful?

I don’t know… ask yours. 😏 Better yet, let’s ask Tank.

Tank will tell you …every rep is a conversation. Every workout is a promise you keep to yourself. Whether you’re hyping yourself up or reminding your body it’s capable of more, your mindset matters.

Talk to your muscles. They’ll answer with strength. 🔥 by @tank_the_trainer

MICHEAL JACKSON was fantastic!!! I partied in the theater. My son and I used to talk about Michael Jackson. He did not know a lot of the history about Micheal and I always tried to explain some of it to him so listening to Michael Jackson’s music back to back I felt like my son was right there with me and we’re was partying hard! #weLoveYouMicheal #getSum #jadonStrong44 by @tank_the_trainer

D1… 2 Days in !
Normally the D1 program is $25 for the program and it covers all the workouts, the nutritional plans, motivation, inspiration, and advice, but this year I’m making it Donation- based so everyone has a chance to train.
Give what you can, show up with effort, and let’s get to work.

Day 2: Benefits of Drinking Water

Boosts Energy & Performance

When you’re dehydrated by even 1%, your strength, speed, and endurance drop. Water keeps your muscles firing at full power.

2️⃣ Speeds Up Weight Loss

Water helps your body burn calories more efficiently and reduces cravings by keeping you feeling full.

3️⃣ Protects Your Joints

Hydrated joints = less pain. Water lubricates the joints, which is HUGE for training, squats, lunges, and athletic movement.

4️⃣ Improves Focus & Mood

Want better concentration during workouts? Water increases brain function and sharpens your mental game.

5️⃣ Flushes Out Toxins

Helps your kidneys, skin, and digestive system get rid of waste so your body runs like a machine.

6️⃣ Aids Digestion & Reduces Bloating

Water keeps everything moving smoothly, preventing cramps and stomach discomfort.

7️⃣ Strengthens Your Heart

Staying hydrated helps maintain healthy blood pressure and circulation — especially during intense D1 sessions.

8️⃣ Enhances Muscle Building

Muscles are 75% water. Without hydration, they can’t repair, grow, or recover as well.

💧 D1 Challenge Tip

Drink half your bodyweight in ounces per day
(Example: If you weigh 180 lbs → Aim for ~90 oz of water daily) by @tank_the_trainer

Last day of Basketball Camp! by @tank_the_trainer

Do you know about B Inspired?
It’s the incredible nonprofit that grew out of Balance—with a mission to bring health, wellness, and culture to students across Philadelphia.

One of our favorite ways to do that? Basketball. 🏀
We launched our summer basketball program last year because it’s a favorite sport among our students—and because it creates the perfect space to teach more than just the game.

Here’s Coach Osco, a true leader on and off the court, talking about the impact of the program.
Coach Osco and Coach Tank dont just teach basketball—they teach life. From teamwork to resilience to confidence, they are helping our kids build skills they’ll carry far beyond the gym.

Stay tuned to hear more from him and follow @binspiredphiladelphia to see what’s next.
