Last week a music video I directed for @dylanhurwich dropped.

Before that he released an album that continues floor me.

In world chasing to be something it’s inherently not, his work is a reminder that there is plenty of room to create singular, moving work without compromise.

For him to trust me with bringing one of his songs to motion and becoming an unflinching conspirator in the process, I am forever grateful.

Thank you, @dylanhurwich

Watch, listen and catch the wave.

This summer, RemainReal Art Gallery asked me to help curate a film night.

I said yes because I truly feel Denver is full of incredible original work, but there aren’t enough spaces to see it, share it, and celebrate it.

The point of these screenings is to give filmmakers a place to show their work, talk about it, and connect with an audience and each other. Standing in a room, feeling reactions, and getting a response is an experience every filmmaker needs, and frankly, one we don’t get often enough.

We had our first screening last month and the turnout was incredible.

The conversations were deep, connections were made, and collaborations started right there in the gallery. It proved what I’ve always believed that Denver/CO can be a place known for original work and original voices.

I can’t thank @zacharygutierrez, @oliverrrrrrrrrr, @jillcoats_ & @gabe.fermin enough for stepping up and being the first.

There’s momentum right now. This feels like an important moment to create spaces where we don’t just consume films, but share them, talk about them, and push each other to make better, bolder work.

Now I have no idea what future holds for these screenings, but as long as there are films to be shown, I’ll keep trying to make these screenings happen.

But the truth is, this only works if everyone participates, both as an audience and as filmmakers.

If you’ve got a film, hit me up. If you just love film, pull up and be part of it. The only way this grows is if we all jump in.

Our next screening:
📍 RemainReal Art Gallery @remainrealfineart
🗓️ Monday, Sept. 22 | 7pm doors, 7:30pm screening
Link for tickets in Bio

🎥 Featuring:
AJ Campli @ajcampli.mov
Evan Mann @evanforrestfilms
Fiona McNeal @fionamcneal

Let’s keep building.
