Watch out for these (ultimately) sweet, hairy creatures featured in the new AirBnB campaign. Keith Arbuthnot and I led the costume team at Mastersfx to make these creatures on a tight deadline with a fantastic crew. This project brought textiles and FX costuming together, something I’ve always wanted to do. by @tannishegan

On Sunday my costume team (Kieu Nguyen, Roma Wnuk, Renee Hope Twaddle, and Ying Nuqan) won an award of excellence for Costume Building - Western Canada at the CAFTCAD Awards in Toronto. This is an event that celebrates Canadian costume design as well as excellence in costume building and textiles. We won this award for the costumes we made for SEE - the Apple TV series starting Jason Momoa. I am grateful for this award in an industry where by nature we are working behind the scenes. It was a fantastic time and was an honour to be celebrated on the night of my birthday! Congratulations also to @lannycampbell and team for winning in Textile Arts for the same show!
