Choreography and movement direction for @visa.ind x Shahrukh Khan @iamsrk ! ⚡️

No one saw this coming but when it did, it got us on our feet dancing with excitement and curiosity. The vision from day one was to create grandeur and every meeting, every rehearsal, we found new possibilities and it didn’t end until the day of the shoot!

We took inspiration from each world and with a team of 10 dancers created the main choreography for Shahrukh and the cast he interacts with on his journey.

Moving 160+ people through 6 sets was no easy task and was a collaborative effort! We went through each frame with great detail to make sure it always felt alive.

It’s been a year to this! ✨

Last year today, we shot Apple’s Diwali film with @howareyoufeeling.studio (magicians) ! With very little sleep, shot for 16 hours and from a height of 45 ft. What made it work, was a team that believed in the vision of the film.

The creation was layered and each rehearsal we explored something new with movement and technology! An experience we hold close to our hearts and grateful for the love it received.

Collaborating with @keelakadancecompany was so fun! Their openness to break and mould the vocabulary of Bharatnatyam in different ways brought the rangoli to life.

Thank you 31. It was a real switch-a-roo. Finding, being, becoming.

Me & @s_kautia both in our 30’s, life & the vision for ourselves changed drastically this year. We always knew we were ready, but this last year gave us the opportunities to showcase that we are. @otterandraven slowly found its footing in 2025.

From creating for @apple , making a whirlwind campaign for @bellavita.official & getting to meet & work with @iamsrk - all of it felt like magic revealing all around me.

The last time I attended a HipHop national level jam was when I won Spit your game in HyD 2025. Been craving to get back on the floor & atlast I feel like I have the discipline & vision to do it all. The fear of “am I going away from my dance” & it was loud some days but all it took to silence this was a good studio sesh of 3hours. Music kept me company when the community felt far.

Getting back to teaching & giving back to the dance community found its way through @now_atwork Reset 7 day retreat all the way in Himachal. One of the most soulful & fulfilling experiences I have ever had with dance.

Thank you to all the movement artists I & @s_kautia got to work with closely & create beautiful pieces of art. It would have been impossible without you all.

Grateful for what I have received. Focussing & staying ready for what’s next.

To 32 👊🏽✨🧿 by @tanujnow
