If a bride doesn’t want to wear red — let her be.
If she chooses a no-makeup, makeup look — let her be.
Because it’s her marzi. Always has been, always will be. 💫

This one’s a love letter to all the unconventional brides, the brides-to-be rewriting traditions in their own shade,
and the bridesmaids who cheer them on every step of the way. 💐

Here’s to owning your story, your style, your marzi.

Some days stay with you long after they’re over. The best part of our day, began after we walked off the @starttankindia stage.

The conversations that followed.
The thoughtful guidance and reassurance.
The generosity (and jokes) of the judges.
The encouragement from our fellow artists and everyone who stayed back to say they loved our story and offered to help and participate in any way that they could.

The feeling that a story we’d quietly lived with for the past 8 months had finally found its first audience.

Thank you to @tessjosephcasting @thirdbellstudios and everyone who made stART Tank possible, and to the judges for giving new writing such thoughtful attention.

Boarding has just begun. ✈️

Thankyou to @tessjosephcasting @thirdbellstudios and the entire stART Tank team for creating a space where new writing can be seen, heard and celebrated.

Thank you to our judges — @tessjoseph19 , @amolparashar , @kumudkmishra , @akvarious , @mohitagarwal14 for your generosity, your questions and your encouragement 🙌

Winning Pitch of the Day was an honour, but what we’ll remember most are the conversations afterwards and the people who connected with the play.

Here’s to everything that comes next. taken in Third bell studios by @tanvichandna

The Layover has been selected for @starttankindia – Theatre Edition from amongst 238+ submissions, where we’ll be pitching the play live on July 15th at 6pm.

It’s an encouraging first step for Svarn Productions, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to share our story.

Congratulations to all the selected playwrights and teams. Looking forward to meeting everyone and hearing the incredible work being created across the country.

Thank you to our esteemed judges @tessjosephcasting , @tessjoseph19 , @thirdbellstudios , @mohitagarwal14 , @akvariouslive , @dfordramabombay , @amolparashar and the entire stART Tank team for believing in new theatre. by @tanvichandna
