Some weddings just have a feeling about them.

Eileen and Will’s day was the perfect balance of timeless tradition and one incredible celebration. From exchanging vows at Worthington Presbyterian Church to dancing the night away at The Athletic Club of Columbus, every part of the day felt elegant, joyful, and completely true to them. The kind of wedding where the biggest moments and the quiet in-between ones are equally unforgettable. 🤍

Receptions are where the carefully planned timeline melts into pure, unfiltered joy—and it’s one of the biggest reasons I love photographing weddings.

One of my all-time favorites was Sydni and Jacob’s reception. Just when the dance floor was getting started, Sydney disappeared and came back with a surprise dress change that sent the entire room into cheers. Moments later, an espresso martini tower appeared—lovingly poured by the incredible team at @tanyalirelan. It was equal parts glamorous and wildly fun.

And of course, the soundtrack for the moment?
Everyone singing along to **Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter at the top of their lungs while martinis were flowing and the dance floor was absolutely packed.

Those are the moments I live for as a photographer—the spontaneous, blink-and-you-miss-it magic. The champagne sprays, the outfit changes, the friends screaming the lyrics to their favorite song.

Because years from now, when couples flip through their wedding gallery, it’s often those wild, joyful, unscripted reception moments that bring them right back to how the night felt.

And capturing that energy? That will never get old.
