I have never been prouder of you my Ali Girl.
Your very first Tausala and your Taualuga was so special and all in your first year of Siva at Fa'aalualu Fetu Siva. could cry at how beautiful you were to watch my baby!

Thank you @le_va_o_pule_s for being the best mentor and providing such a beautiful and safe space for our young girls to flourish in and a space for us older ones to get back in touch with our culture, learn and grow!

Introducing our 2nd Breaking Judge Taups!!!

Taupuhi “Taups” Toki, aka Bboy Papa Smurf, has been representing Hip Hop culture in Auckland, Aotearoa since the late ’90s, beginning his Breaking journey in 1997, forming known crew InStance Movement in 1999.
Coming through an era where the 2000s helped strengthen the identity and presence of Aotearoa Hip Hop, Taups had opportunities to perform alongside and dance for artists including Ill Semantics, Blindspott, Nesian Mystik and many more.
With over two decades in the culture, his journey spans battles, cyphers, stage performance, teaching, mentoring and judging. Taups brings an OG perspective that values foundation, musicality, originality, character and being true to yourself.

Introducing our first Open Style Judge Praiz!!!

Praiz is a Wellington-born breaker/dancer who began her journey in 1997 and has been a long-standing contributor to both the Aotearoa and Australian scenes. During her eight years in Australia, she was active as a competitor, MC, judge and educator, sharing her knowledge of hip hop foundations and culture through studios and community spaces.

Still hosting in Aotearoa, having recently hosted this years Homegrown battles alongside Nolz and judging preliminaries for Red bull dance your style. Can’t stop, wont stop.

Introducing our first Breaking Judge for OTS 2026!!!

BBOY GRUB D - born and bred in Christchurch City, Grub is known for his next to none high battle energy and his fresh freestyle on the floor.
He is a member of one of the longest running crews in the country, Common Ground, joining in 2002.

Grub has represented Common Ground, Christchurch and New Zealand in both local and international comps/stages such as BC One, R16 and Pacific Break to name a few. Grub was also a winner of the very first Only The Strong back in 2005!

We are always blessed to have Grub and his decades of experience and knowledge as part of our event this year and @chchhiphopsummit03
