Berlin is ugly, they say.

Not this square. Not these two weeks. Heatwaves, rain, storm gusts — nothing stopped us. Two weeks, one square, endless dancing.

Free. Outdoors. For everyone.
Reclaim the streets.

Aroeiras Berlin | Last Dance | Forró with Live Music

Every step we learn is just the beginning — the roots from which we grow, improvise, fly. Together, carried by music that gives us wings.

We look back with longing — at this last dance, accompanied by Aroeiras, trees of the sun — at what Potsdamer Platz was, and at what it can be.

Tanzen 3000 | @toooooomuch | Ecstatic Dance

"While I dance I cannot judge, I cannot hate, I cannot separate myself from life. I can only be joyful and whole. That is why I dance." [Hans Bos]
Thomas — you can never be toooooo much.

Phoenix Clan | FatChanceBellyDance® Style

Yuri Ferretti and his clan arrived and took everyone with them. Warm, elegant, full of joy. We have a feeling a few new students found their dance home on the last day of #tanzmit2026

Oiposho Dance Studio

Colourful, diverse, unexpected. And suddenly people were joining in who would probably never have tried oriental dance under any other circumstances. That's the magic.

Steppin' Easy:

Two years ago they danced their way into our hearts. Last Saturday they danced through the whole world — one more time.

Urban Beat Irish Dance Academy:

Last year they danced through a rainstorm — and had to stop. This year they came back, with sunshine, joy, and the irresistible gift of making everyone around them feel it too. Irish dancing in its most glorious, most joyful form. A thousand thanks @urbanbeat_irishdanceacademy

ABOUT LAST FRIDAY🔥
We transformed Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz into one big open-air dance floor as part of this year’s @tanzmit.info. Under the motto “I Am the music, I Am the dance,” each participant performed to another dancer’s favorite song, making every round a surprise. Together with a special Krump showcase, spontaneous duet pairings, and many amazing solo talents, we spent another beautiful summer evening dancing right in the heart of the city.

A huge thank you to @tanzmit.info for inviting us - it was truly an honor and a pleasure to be part of the festival! 🤍

As always, a massive shout-out goes to our entire team for making this event possible, to our judges @elmovangilbergen and @oleleo__ for taking on the incredibly difficult task of choosing who’s in and who’s out, to @atilla_aktas_berlin for delivering some fun party tunes, and to @princemik_ for once again guiding us through another special edition.

And of course, congratulations to our three winners of the night: @carolina_cabrijan , @thenext_2023 and @amandip_dipstar!🏆✨

We already can’t wait to do it all over again. So, mark your calendars for Friday, 21.08.26, 7:00PM when we’ll be back at our home base @jungestanzhausberlin. See you there on the floor! 💥
