12•23•25💍To some this may feel like it came out of thin air, and to others it’s been a foreseen event … but never would I have imagined back in 2018 that we’d be standing right here today. It feels like just yesterday we were two teenagers from Baton Rouge, figuring life out and watching each other grow. From high school, to you sending me off to college learning that the ups and downs of distance were heavier than we knew, to finding our way back as friends on completely different paths.When I moved back home, I never expected our lives to realign, but welcoming you back into my life has been nothing short of amazing. Every chapter led us here, and I can’t wait to see where life takes us next.♥️🥹💍 by @tanzyyvette

Isaiah 43:18-19 🥹; Lemme start by saying I don’t have to explain myself to anyone, but this testimony cannot go untold5 months ago, I was told two weeks before graduation i’d have to redo my ENTIRE semester, find another internship, and couldn’t walk. I was heartbroken, didn’t get a clear answer as to why or even a hint it was coming. I was denied 3 times to still walk. I was depressed and lost, wanting to just throw in the towel and wallow in my misery. Because I just knew this couldn’t be my fate. But I had to pick my head up and continue forward, praying everyday just for some sort of saving or answer for whats next. Today, I am proud to OFFICIALLY announce, I am an Alumna of Thee Grambling State University. Along with an offer to a Full-time job with benefits. Biggest thank you to my village and friends that kept me afloat during the hardships. All glory to God for new opportunities, better times, and new beginnings. Never let setbacks throw you from your purpose and know you aren’t a failure if you fall, pick yourself up because God is not done shaping you♥️. signed officially🍾, Tanzanea Y. In the end we only regret the chances we didn’t take💐 ••It’s every young athlete’s dream to play at a collegiate level, though it may have ended earlier than I intended. I gained a family and life long sisters along the way, who I wouldn’t trade for the world. Forever thankful for the opportunity to play for a D1 program for three and a half years. And to the little girl who gave 19 hard years of blood, sweat and tears…. we did it ! 1/3#22 officially signing out🎓 by @tanzyyvette
