My brother ,

There are no words to quantify how hurt I am that this happened and you will no longer physically be with us. It don’t seem real and idk how to go back to “normal” knowing the hole ur absence is leaving all of us with. I wanna say I’m sorry man. There is prolly some guilt I’ll live with forever because ya know I wouldn’t have been mad at you if u said Brodie I got the kids tonight I ain’t gone make it out. You know I always respected how much you loved ya family and altered ya life to be the great Dad and Husband you are. Shìt I think our group chat is called follow your heart because you decided to propose to Ti. If I would just told u aye bro don’t worry bout it stay home I’ll catch you later it woulda been all ok. I’m sorry I didn’t say that to you bro. Everyday I wish I did.

I’m thankful that we crossed paths and got to run this marathon we call life for the short time that we did together. From jump you’ve always if nothing else stood firm in who you are. Eloquent speaker, smart, driven, passionate, fiery , goofy the list can go on and on. Thank you for being you big dog. You always stood in your purpose blazed trails and opened paths and doors for us to follow you and helped us along the way when we needed it. You showed those of us that poured our lives in to hoops how to transition n still set ourselves up to be great after the ball stops bouncing. Took me a while to figure it out but thanks for showing me.

From here on I promise first and foremost to be here for Ti and ya kids the best way that I can I know they all meant the world to you. I also promise to live life with purpose and intention and to leave a legendary legacy like the one you’ve left for yourself.

Thank you, all I can say is thank u. Thank u for all the time spent lessons taught and love given. Ur efforts as a father saved me. Wasn’t always the closest growing up but Dad somehow all the best parts of myself are the things I got from u. Not the typical macho man shit either. Thank you for teaching me at a young age every decision I make good or bad has a consequence that I have to live with and don’t let anyone choose for me. Those words always helped me see big picture, think for myself and be an individual. Last couple years been rough n I’m sorry for that dude. Wish i coulda did more I wish it could have been different n I wish I could’ve saved u like u saved me. I’m thankful for the extended time we had. Imma cherish it forever. I cried a little, u kno I never cry man but then I heard u say man stop fussing it’s gon be ok. Life goes on. It don’t seem real feel like u gon call me later to tlk about whatever was on ya mind today. 💔

Rhea, to know you is to know love because you are love. Anyone that has had the pleasure to know you knows how kind and caring you are and how you will do anything for those you love. I am beyond thankful our little one and little ones to come get to experience that from their mom. I’ve been fortunate to be on a bunch of teams over the years this by far is the best one , and you by far, the best teammate. I think I’ve always told you, you are all the things now you can add mom to the list.

To my daughter, Payton, you have no clue how much ya old man loves you already. There aren’t words. I just hope that I do a good enough job that you feel it everyday.

My prayer for you is that you always remember whom you are but more importantly whose you are. Our daughter yes, but God’s child first.
