UPD: Збір закрито! Дякую всім причетним! UPD ENG: Fundraiser is closed. Thanks to everybody who participated one way or another!
Друзі вітаю! Оголошую новий великий збір! Знову пікап, знову підрозділ наступу, знову велика сума, знову людина знайома мені особисто. Нажаль я знову не можу поділитися особистою інформацію бійця на кшталт імʼя, підрозділу тощо. Натомість маю трошки бекграунд історії бійця. Людина у складі війська з 14го року приймав участь майже у кожній знаковій битві з тих часів по сьогоднішній день. Бої за 32й блокпост на трасі Бахмутка де потрапив в оточення. Після прориву звідти знову важкі бої за Дебальцеве, знову оточення та нажаль поранення. Після швидкої реабілітації бої за Марʼїнку, Широкине та Світлодарську дугу у складі підрозділу розвідки. Під час повномасштабного вторгнення знаходився в Маріуполі, приймав участь у обороні Азовсталі, потрапив в полон і був засуджений неіснуючим непорозумінням під назвою «ДНР» до вищої міри покарання. Але цього не сталося. Воїн потрапив на обмін і після швидкої реабілітації повернувся до строю. На разі виконує задачі у пеклі ( читай на Сході) і потребує пікап. Ми не повинні стояти осторонь і маємо зібрати потрібну суму якомога швидше. Дивимось знову у бік L200/Navara/Pathfinder.

UPD: збір закрито! Дякуємо! Друзі! Оголошую новий великий збір на пікап для підрозділу, якому ми нещодавно допомогли збором на обвіс. Зʼявилася нова потреба в автівці (орієнтовано Nissan Navara або Mitsubishi L200 2008р. дизель). Ми всі вже давно знаємо, що автівки - це розхідний матеріал на фронті і це саме така ситуація. Бійці приймали участь в обороні Маріуполя і зараз беруть активну участь в контрнаступальних діях. Бригада максимально поважна, проте з міркувань безпеки я не можу оприлюднити яка саме. Давайте докладемо максимальних зусиль і посадимо крутих тіпів за кермо до настання осінньої багнюки! Сума збору 250000 грн з врахуванням фарбування, пригону з закордону, та необхідних робот з технічного обслуговування. Разом до перемоги!

Friends! I’m starting a fundraiser for Ukrainian forces again! This time it’s a big one so I need everybody on board! We are fundraising for a pick-up truck (Nissan Navara or Mitsubishi L200 2008 Diesel). Trucks like this one became a quickly disposable material in this war. Previous truck was destroyed, so I couldn’t just stand aside. The unit we’re collecting for is heavily seasoned in battles and fighting on the frontlines as we speak. We need to raise 9300 CAD to fulfil this request. 9300 CAD includes repainting and required maintenance of the truck before it hits the road. Як і обіцяв до вашої уваги звіт по збору на обвіс для воїну наступу. Встигли прям день в день. Воїн вже виконує бойові завдання. Воїн особисто дякує всім хто долучився і допоміг поширити збір. Звітує що стріляє дуже влучно!
Дякую від щирого серця всім хто прийняв участь!

Oh boy where should I start with this one… so inspired heavily by @loatheasone I’ve made a first in my life Black Friday purchase which was a Subzero rogue VI baritone. Being an excited idiot I am I have installed locking tuners on it which obviously voided any warranty. After this I realized that the neck was twisted really badly. Talking to subzero guitars didn’t help in any way. They just didn’t want to help. I think if a factory guitar was good enough for @imconnorsweeney it should be good enough for any other guitarist out there. But I guess they have different quality standards for somebody famous and us plebs. ( no disrespect towards Connor, I think he’s a great dude). So my quest for a replacement neck has begun. Since the scale length is 30 inch and heel shape is unique it was very hard to find anything that would fit. I found a guy on Etsy who agreed to make me a custom neck and even went through designing it in AutoCAD. But weeks became months and the only thing I heard was “bruh I’m super swamped”. So at some point I gave up on that guy and decided to go other way. So if you ever run into Third Bay Woodcraft on Etsy I don’t suggest having business with them. At that point @rhcitrullo introduced me to a local luthier @sandmandreamguitars who went above and beyond all my expectations. James was very attentive to my requests. He came and picked the guitar up, found very beautiful pieces of maple and provided pictures with notes for every step of the process. He’s built the new neck very fast and it’s the highest quality work as well. I cannot recommend James enough for your any custom guitar work. Last but not least shoutout to @stacie.mar for gifting me a set of locking tuners for this build. And special thanks to my lovely wife @ir_psh for putting up with all my bullshit and supporting wild experiments like this.

P.S.: obviously the guitar came in just when I trashed our car and broke my left hand. So all I can play for next month is 0000-0000 which is very possible with this monstrosity. Happy to be alive and being able to come back to playing soon enough.

Our birthdays are a day apart, so we cheat a little and celebrate it together. Thank you @pastiche.toronto for an incredible 8 course blind menu and amazing drinks. You guys have made that night special. Most importantly thanks to my loveliest wife for breaking bread (and 4 types of insane butter) with me that night. @ir_psh I love you to the moon and back!
