We’re excited to welcome tattoo artist and architect Budi (@_____budi_____ ) back to Cairo 💌

Budi is no stranger to TAPPIN’ TATTS, having trained with us before continuing his tattoo journey in Germany. Based in Stuttgart, Budi’s work is rooted in minimalist, illustrative and abstract designs, with playful characters, fine lines and graphic details. His tattoos have a collectible sticker-like quality, with each piece bringing its own personality while working naturally as part of a larger patchwork collection. With a background in architecture, Budi brings a strong eye for composition, proportion and structure to his tattoo work.

Budi will be guesting with us from October 20th to November 1st. Limited booking slots available.

Mayhm aka @cowgirlslovetatts is a Turkmen Ukrainian tattoo artist specializing in Sketch Style, Etching, Dotwork, Ignorant Style, and Cyber Sigilism.

Born in Ashgabat and based between Kyiv and Dubai, Mayhm’s work explores ancient symbols, manuscripts, and the ritualistic side of tattooing through experimental approaches and traditional stick and poke techniques, also featured on her other account @awlust.

We’re excited to welcome our guest artist @GeeInks back to Cairo, where she’ll be with us from August 20th to October 26th 💌

Gee is a New York City–based tattoo artist recognized for bold blackwork, abstract compositions, and fine-line custom work rooted in mythology and personal storytelling. She has been tattooing at TAPPIN’ TATTS in Cairo since July and has created some beautiful work during her stay. After Cairo, she’ll return to New York to continue her work at @whiterabbittattoostudio.

Sometimes there’s no need for laser removal or a complete cover-up. A good tattoo can often be saved by cleaning up the composition, removing unnecessary details, correcting the lines, and adding the right accents.

The goal is not always to hide the old tattoo — sometimes it’s simply to give it a second life and turn it into something you’re actually happy to wear.
