Boards of Canada - Inferno sessions was magic. We arrived 3 hours early to check out the park, but there were already like 5 people in line, so I had to go sit in the line while Jessica went and checked out the Frank Wright house. She joined me after about 30 min. We met people from ALL over the country. A mother and son came from Kansas, a Canadian dude gave me a Modelo. Had good conversation with people from Colorado and Ohio. We ended up being like the 6th and 7th people through the door, and we were front row dead center. I have been following Boardsofcanada for something like 24 or 25 years, every album and every viral Marketing campaign. I think I caught 3 spiny lobsters over the course of the entire season last year. This season has barely been open a week and I've got 8 so far. 6 tonight for a 2 hour work night dive. I'm pretty tired this morning! taken in Carlsbad, California by @tappy1322

Yesterday Jessica Osburn and I went on an epic journey in search of my first BFT. While I didn't land one, I did learn a ton about what it takes to shoot one of these fish. Its about reps and time in the water, and hopefully I'll have better luck next time. I didn't come home empty handed though, I was able to snag this nice little yellow tail! Special thanks to Spencer Relator, Eric McAlister and Melanie Griffin, you guys are awesome. Every time I head out with any of you guys, I learn a ton about being on the water and this sport! Also special thanks to Jessica, for being willing to get up at 3am and head out into the open ocean with me. It takes a real sense of adventure to find enjoyment in freezing your ass off soaking wet for 12 hours in choppy seas. Thanks babe, I hope you enjoy the seared Hamachi we'll be eating tonight! by @tappy1322
