Six of the nine workshops are sold out for the Bay Area Musical Improv Festival, but there's a few slots left in each of the remaining three on Friday, Oct 23.

Here's a quick primer about what each workshop offers.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from teachers from Portland, Los Angeles and NYC!

If you want to learn more or register, visit our website (link in bio).

If you live anywhere close enough to see @laurabenanti in her one woman show, Nobody Cares, this is your sign to GO GO GO. This show is funny and vulnerable, honest and ridiculous, full of Laura‘s unparalleled talent that’s she’s been known for for over 20 years and reveals her unreal talent for writing and storytelling. She is marvelous and I adore her. Laura, thank you, my friend. I hope you always stay too high and too bumpy. taken in Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts by @taracopelandactor

This summer, we read this book and saw this movie in preparation for this show coming to town. @carlyashlock told me it’s maybe the best show she’s ever seen. I can’t believe it’s finally here! taken in Hollywood Pantages Theatre by @taracopelandactor

Tråshing up the opening WGIS block at @LAMIFEST yesterday! Båg'd em & tåg'd em, wet stinky song after wet stinky song. Self-defense class with Macho Man Randy Savage, cloud paternity questions & worst possible answers, a purely proud papa + the two losingest baseball dads ("What the f*** is wrong with my kid"), & a Heated Rivalry ménage à garbàge that Tara willed into existence! Thanks @smithlgreg on keys, @finediningpodcast on percussion, @miranda_writes114 in the booth, @androssthegreat on host, @wgis_space on stage, @deznash & @dollarslice_musicalimprov & Tara & Andrew for the monumental accomplishment of the 2nd annual LAMIF! Love you musical improv community, love you LA, tråsh forever xo #trash by @taracopelandactor
