💘 This is an in-depth glimmer into giving up self abandonment, sleeping with a light on and realizing our dog is definitely god in drag.

You’ve got to keep your altitude real real high when you’re incarnating a spiritual career because it doesn’t take much to get your spirit to go back in the past and wake up your scar tissue, it doesn’t take much to activate the shadow sides of your archetypes. taken in Kandy, Sri Lanka by @taragermani

Fun fact. In astrology and palmistry, the middle finger is connected to Satvrn the planet of discipline, structure, karma, and responsibility 🖕🏽🪐🤗🍬

I was in the mood to vent about turning 40 in three weeks and the patriarchal conditioning i felt to feel stressed about it. But got distracted looking for the cover photo and found all these, so here :) some nostalgia 🪣🦋🪞🍭🪩🍬⛲️

Will ramble on substack xo

In the two minutes we were live, i got overwhelmed 🪐 and realized we need a little more time & hand holding to move through these very real growing pains.

It seems to be a case of IFKYK 🪽
And I still wanted to share fun things that aren’t quite ready for sale through the website in the mean time and not confuse our friends who have been patiently waiting for us to open sesame ✨🤲🏽✨

Thank you for understanding :) we will keep you posted ofc when we are ready to welcome you into our online bhaktiverse.

Are you meditating to self realize or keep up with capitalism?

Honestly asking this question for just about any verb will probably unearth some stuff; try it out:

creating, reading, writing, training, eating, listening, walking, keeping up with tech, skin care, waxing, surfing, exercising, shopping etc

It’s kinda chic to be tired of capitalism.
Some thoughts on the eclipse, meditation and fatiguing systems 🧶

1
Your lack of realization does not alter the fact that you are at one with creation. Fools are also one with god.

To be free you must also be free to do as you don’t like - if you are only free to do as you like you are still tied up in dualism, being bound by your own whims.

I could blame the eclipse but I’m pretty certain it’s the post shadow period of working tirelessly while trying to fumble capitalism whilst holding other missions and visions for the last 3years +gst that is actually making me feel this wiped out.

Anyone else tired and blaming themselves, the moon, anyone other than the systems that have been designed to keep us up at night working tireless to get the thing we love ‘done’.

3
Slavoj Zižek observed in his essay From Western Marxism to Western Buddhism how perfectly meditation enables individuals to keep pace with the ever-accelerating dynamics of capitalism. Western Buddhism, he wrote, allows people “to fully participate in the frantic pace of the capitalist game while sustaining the perception that you are not really in it; that you are well aware of how worthless this spectacle is; and that what really matters to you is the peace of the inner self to which you know you can always withdraw.”

This is the illusion of distance from the rat race, the notion that all you need to do is let go, access the core of one’s true self, unleash the power of the here and now, and you are no longer entangled.

As promised SATVRN.COM is live 8/8/8 🐚✨

Our perfectly un-finished website is alive and well and I’d be delighted to invite you to take a look around.

We are not fully formed but almost there. You can contemplate, add to cart and imagine what international shipping might feel like and if you’re patient with me local island wide delivery will arrive to you free of charge at a snails pace.

Most items are listed as preorder with 2-4 weeks crafting & delivery time.

We are proudly analog and everything about this process was designed for you to not hurry either. No short-cuts were taken, nor was any AI used for the creation of this website.

Thank you for taking your time to admire the view & labour love sweat and tears :) it’s finest on a desktop view but still looks alight on the phone if that’s all you have in you.

I hope you love it as much as I do 🪐💞🌷🐚🦢
More soon 🛸
