✨5 years✨ In the beautiful words of our officiant, Mr. Kent Gash, “We marry as a community…” and I am constantly so proud of and humbled by the amazing, silly, brilliant, strong, and loving people in our community (as it was five years ago and continues to evolve and grow today).

I’m so proud to call @thetrevorbunce my best friend and spouse, and grateful that he “yes-ands” me daily.

Happy Pride Month 🌈

Clare’s coming out in the TV series “Derry Girls” is one of the most iconic and beautifully human moments in television. As part of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, my writing partner and I wrote some songs for an unofficial musical adaptation of Derry Girls and this is the song we wrote for that scene. This is footage from our workshop presentation (forgive the video quality!), but I couldn’t think of a better time to share it than Pride, because Clare’s story continues to mean so much to so many people. Thank you, @lisafromderry , for creating these unforgettable characters, and thank you to @nicolacoughlan and @saoirsemonicajackson for bringing Clare and Erin to life with such honesty, humor, and heart. Your performances inspired this piece.

Thank you so much to the Boston Theater Critics Association for the 5️⃣ Elliot Norton Award nominations we received for our production of MOTHER MARY @playwrightsbpt!

It was such a great night at the beautiful @huntingtontheatre and exciting step on our journey with this project.

I’m so proud of everyone who had anything to do with making this special piece of theatre, and honored to have been nominated for my performance as Mary alongside such incredibly talented artists (especially my other half @adriana_diane ♥️)! “Forward, forward!”

This Mother’s Day is bittersweet as my wonderful in-laws recently lost their beautiful matriarch, Julie Bunce. Her funeral was last Friday on a perfect sunny day, and while filled with plenty of tears, was mostly filled with joy. A true celebration of an amazing life. To know Julie aka Julie Mom aka Nonnie aka Nana, was to instantly adore her. This woman was the definition of adorable. She was always ready with a pun, a snack (dessert) offering, a funny face, a silly wave, and “love and hugs”. She absolutely loved to sing, especially with her family. She was very intentional about making sure I felt like part of the family right away, especially after I lost my Granny in 2017. She is deeply missed, and I will think of her every time I forget my coffee in the microwave💜 by @tarakellyforseth
