For 10 years, she hid who she really was for the sake of "professionalism." Then she made a decision that changed everything. This is what happens when you team up with professionals that get you, and fully embrace who you are. Swipe to see the transformation! A Tarantula Studio branding lookbook? YES. With Fester on the cover… he’s the guardian of the carousel 🐀 and he brings an invitation. Each brand you’re about to see represents a business owner who was tired of hiding their true aesthetic, tired of beige brands that felt like wearing someone else’s clothes, tired of being told their vision was “too much” or “too weird.” From skincare studios to tattoo shops to authors, every project starts with the same question: What would your brand look like if you weren’t afraid? If you’re ready to find out and make your brand 10x weirder, 10x more beautiful, and 10x cooler… the link in my bio will take you exactly where you need to go. See you on the other side ❤️‍🔥 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #branding #designstudio #alternativedesign #darkaesthetic #gothicbranding #gothdesign #gothdesigner #brandstrategy #brandidentitydesign #brandingtips #brandingagency #webdesign #graphicdesign #branddesigner #AlternativeBusiness #GothicEntrepreneur #DarkAesthetic #GothicBranding #DarkBrand #BusinessGoth #GothicDesign #DarkCraft #WitchyLogo #OccultBusiness #DarkStyle by @tarantula.studio
Buckle in…this is going to be a long one. The vision for The Indie Syndicate actually came to me before the boom of generative AI. I saw indie authors pouring their hearts into their work just to be constantly beaten down by the financial weight of putting a published book into the world. 👊🏼Character art 💵 Editing 👊🏼Cover art 💵Marketing 👊🏼Narration 💵Physical ARCs 👊🏼PR boxes 💵Events 👊🏼Etc…Etc…Etc I wanted to do something that bridged the gap between indie authors and a beautifully published book. No cut corners. No compromises. No stress. And then…enter generative AI 🥴 A completely free “tool” (if we can even call it that) that more and more authors were turning to for character art, marketing, cover art, etc with the repeated logic of, “I can’t afford to hire a real artist”. I get it babe, it’s rough out there! Que the hair pulling 😫 I sat. I watched. And no real solution was ever brought into the conversation. This began the pattern of: author uses AI -> gets called out -> author pleads financial burden -> readership cancels but provides no solution. And the pattern continued again and again. I want to provide a solution. Or in the least, a life line of sorts. My mission is to cultivate a community that supports not only real human creatives that put lived experience, emotion, depth, and soul into their work, but also indie authors who’s stories deserve to be heard arguably more than anything. I have big BIG plans and ideas for The Indie Syndicate. Much more than what I can put in a single post or carousel. If you’ve gotten this far, that tells me you have a heart for this mission too. Do the thing with the words we cringe at and jump in my bio, click that link and drop me your digits…ok fine, email 😘 And welcome…to The Indie Syndicate 🤝 Branding done by the AMAZING @tarantula.studio by @tarantula.studio
Posted this to my stories yesterday, and today she did confirm, so now it’s 2 spots. Ugliest post in the history of Tarantula Studio, yes, but I thought you’d appreciate the heads up 👹 by @tarantula.studio
If you’re also tired of blending in with your industry, and wanna have a brand that feels NATURAL to *live in* and market, listen up: It’s almost the end of 2026, and we can only welcome 4 more clients this year. If you’re already familiar with our work, and just haven’t taken the leap yet, this is you being invited to step up. My website has tons of info about our services, and the link in my bio has the form you can use to get in touch. It already has the basic questions I need to know to evaluate if we’re a good match, all you have to do is type your answers and I’ll get in touch - probably the same day. Click my link, and let’s make your brand work FOR you in 2027. Waiting for you on the Otherside 👁️ by @tarantula.studio
Ready to die on the hill that a logo is not a brand and will actually do very little for you, but a full visual system will make every brand decision easier and can actually change your life. Have a good weekend 👹🫶 by @tarantula.studio
“make SPF metal.” < this has to be one of the wildest ideas a client has brought to my table. When Rachel and Stephen first reached out, they didn’t even have a logo yet, BUT, they did have a *very* specific problem: They couldn’t find a single brand making SPF clothing they could wear to their metal festivals: All of them had that Solbari, The North Face, hiking-with-the-in-laws energy… Not exactly something a metalhead wants to go wearing to a festival. So they decided to launch their own! And hired us to build Burn Unit on this crazy unusual (but SO necessary) idea of making SPF metal. We even did things like lettering inspired by metal brand logos, and a brand symbol shaped like a summoning sigil - the kind you’d draw on the ground to call in protection. After some months of work, this is the result: their unusual concept is crystal clear, as is the intended target audience. This brand’s whole visual system gives off a gut feeling that will immediately feel familiar and resonate with the festival goers, and at the same time, filter out the audience they don’t wanna cater to. The wrong crowd will stick to the clean, basic SPF clothing, and Burn Unit’s customers get to wear theirs like a badge of honor. Would you wear something like this? by @tarantula.studio

If this is you, there is an entire design studio dedicated to making your branding dreams come true. Come in, we’ve been waiting for you ❤️‍🔥🕯️ by @tarantula.studio
What we’ve been brewing in the studio these past months 🧙🏻‍♀️✨ Brands and websites so specific they couldn’t belong to anybody else other than their owners. I love how different they are from each other, and also how their theme and aesthetic is so palpable! One of the biggest challenges in brand design is making the theme of the brand CLEAR and then TANGIBLE so that people looking from the outside can feel it too, and not just you. Even if you’re my client, at the end of the day we’re both building together for your audience. Like prepping the house to receive them. Cleaning up, decorating, building a nice playlist, choosing the board games and the food, so they will have a good time and wanna stay. It’s the same with branding only we’re dealing in the realm of textures, colors, imagery, symbols… We’re curating a brand that’s gonna feel like an invitation to your universe and your offers. One part of the brand connecting with the other like puzzle pieces to form the final picture ❤️‍🔥 by @tarantula.studio
Here’s the part that didn’t make the slides otherwise this carousel would be THIRTY FREAKING PAGES LONG!!!: Even people who DO feel the difference between the flat brands and the ones that feel rich, usually don’t clock *how much* they’re missing until they see it built out in front of them. You know that feeling when you land on someone’s site, then their IG, then you see a photo of their packaging, and it’s all consistent and unmistakably theirs? That’s not by chance or that they’re just talented (*very* few people are naturally good at this). Most likely they have a clear brand direction, a system every single piece of their brand pulls from, and now they’re just expanding. That’s the whole difference between a bare minimum branding package and what I like to give my clients. I like to hand you and your team the rules to keep building the same world, forever. So if your brand still feels like a bunch of separate pieces instead of somewhere you and your people can live, check out my website and services. Let’s give you a brand universe you can repeat and expand 🖤 by @tarantula.studio
