It’s always been a YOU VS YOU mentality in this sport. During your training blocks you will go through weeks where, the weight feels weightless, weeks where the weight doesn’t move at all, weeks where you’re sick, and weeks where you feel like giving up. But it’s up to you to keep pushing through and keep your goals within reach. Some meets will go smoothly and be the perfect day, while others will be the worst meets you’ve ever had bombing out. But it’s up to you to keep driving forward and win or sit on the sidelines and watch others steal your dreams.
