Are there even words? Hosting my first kundalini yoga event on my very own, under my own business, Calico Kundalini. It was a lot of pressure and I wasn’t sure I had the nerve strength for it. But then the day came, and it was sooo much fun setting up the space and seeing my vision come together. Such sweet joy. Then seeing the room fill with people. 🥹😭🥰 I am deeply grateful for every single person who came and participated. I am grateful for their support, and grateful they took this time out for themselves. Seeing them walk away feeling so wonderful, what a blessing to behold. 🤍✨ To everyone who made this experience a success, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. by @tarawright47
I am so excited to host my first ever C A L I C O K U N D A L I N I Yoga Event! I hope you can come! 😍🥰 On Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:05pm locally, we’ll experience the shift from summer into fall. This day offers us equal moments of daylight to night, a perfect balance of light and dark. I’ve designed an event from this balance. We’ll use breathwork, mantra, movement and meditation to explore the polarities of life as we continually return to, and practice from, our center. We’ll integrate our experience with a beautiful gong bath followed by intentional silence. You don’t want to miss this one. The practices themselves balance the various systems within our own beings, so we can enjoy the polarities of life with a calm confidence from within. Click the link in my bio to book. Space is limited. 🫶🏼🤍✨ by @tarawright47
Absolutely beaming with joy after my first public yoga class. 🥰 It was a 2 hour in-person and livestreamed event for the Lions Gate Portal in Las Vegas. NV. at @thematajisanctuary. It indeed felt like an initiation for me. ✨ I am so grateful for everyone who came to support me! My sweet mom, my Kundalini sisters #hotnams and my dear friends who traveled down from St. George. I am grateful to all the locals who showed up for themselves and fully enhanced the experience, and for all those who supported and joined in via the livestream. 🙏 I am overflowing with gratitude and love for this beautiful opportunity to share a practice that has so deeply and lovingly impacted my life. ♥️ by @tarawright47

I am deeply grateful for my darling Kundalini yoga teacher, Melanie MataJi. She is the perfect mix of everything I needed her to be. And I am so grateful she saw something in me and offered me my very first teaching opportunity! ✨ On Saturday, 8/8 I’ll be hosting a 2 hour event at The MataJi Sanctuary in Las Vegas, NV. for the Lion’s Gate Portal. If you are in the area or willing to be, it would warm my heart and soothe my soul to see you there in person. Otherwise, the event will be live-streamed so you can participate from the comfort of your home. It’s kinda terrifying for me, but I hear this is how growth happens. 😉 Truly, I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this practice that has been so beautifully life changing for me. 🤍✨ *I’ll be sharing the link to purchase a ticket through my stories, or you can find it through @thematajisanctuary 🙏💫 by @tarawright47
I am beyond grateful to announce my certification in Kundalini Yoga, and a 300hr yoga teacher registration with Yoga Alliance. Kundalini is a sacred gift in my life, and I am grateful for every aligned opportunity to share it. 🤍✨💫 by @tarawright47
• T H I R T E E N • How is my little big guy already a teenager?? 😭 It’s clear to see that Kobe has brought nothing but pure JOY to my world. I feel blessed beyond measure that he chose me to be his mama. 🫶🏼 Happiest 13th birthday to my guy! 🥳💙 #kobechristopher by @tarawright47
✨E I G H T E E N✨ Riley Amber has lit up my world since the day I first knew of her existence. She came into my life when it was pretty dark and heavy. She instantly became my reason to live. That’s a lot of pressure for a little girl to carry. But she has done it boldly and with grace. I am the luckiest to have her. She’s been my biggest blessing. Being able to watch her grow, to love on her and to be loved by her…gosh, that’s the love of the universe right there. I love you so much Riley Amber. Thanks for being my baby girl, all growed up. Happiest birthday to you! 🥳🤍✨💞🌈🦄 @rileyamberr_ by @tarawright47
Our 4th of July trip to South Carolina to see our besties was THE BEST. ♥️🤍💙 1 & 2: Our amazing hosts started our trip off by taking us boating on the Wando River to look for dolphins, and it clearly did not disappoint. 🐬 3: On day 2 our family crossed the beautiful Ravenel bridge for a solo outing in the beautiful old city of Charleston.😍 (4, 5 & 6) 7: That evening us adults got to head out on the loveliest date night to Obstinate Daughter, where we ate the yummiest foods and had plenty of laughs. 😋🤤 8, 9 & 10: On day 3 we celebrated the 4th and it was so dang fun. We watched the cutest golf cart parade (not pictured) then spent the day swimming in the backyard and grilling up yummy BBQ. Us girls shared many laughs together which made my heart fully happy. That evening we had the best view of the fireworks display right from the front yard. I didn’t add music to this post because I didn’t want to cover up the satisfying sound of the fireworks! 🎇 11 & 12: On our final full day we headed for the beach at the Isle of Palms. We were all pretty exhausted this day so opted for a beach walk instead of beach day, but of course the boys jumped in. 😍 13 & 14: That evening us girls headed down to the neighborhood dock. Of course we opted for a photo shoot, but were pleasantly surprised by the ever entertaining Fiddler Crabs! They have one dominate claw, and were dueling like crazy. We caught a small clip. 🦀 15 & 16: We couldn’t end our trip without trying to recapture the kids front porch photo from 2019 when we last visited the Hogan’s in their Connecticut home. @hoganbrent84 and @amberjinnett have always been the very best hosts and spoil us like crazy. We are grateful and blessed to know, to love, and to be loved by these humans. ♥️✨ Until next time…. by @tarawright47
My Riley Amber 😍🥹🎓 I am so dang proud of her. She is beautiful from the inside out. She is deeply sensitive, compassionate and kind. She endured some serious life challenges in her early to mid teens, and was barely making her way through school and through life. This year I was able to witness her overcome that in such beauty, and she was able to use her experience to help others, along with her big giant heart. She attended @stgacademy her senior year and it ended up being the perfect environment for her. A community that accepts people as they are, which is incredibly important for her tender heart to witness. She was peer nominated to serve on the Hope Squad as a trusted peer for classmates who were struggling. In addition to being seen and honored for who she is as a person, she also did well in her studies. She was awarded the Golden Scalpel award for her precision in dissecting, and she discovered her love for human physiology and anatomy. I’m so grateful she was able to attend such a wonderful school that helped her to see a glimpse of her worth. Their graduation was tender and powerful, and hands down the best one I’ve ever attended. So grateful for all who came to support too. Now we’re just going to soak this all in before jumping into next phases of life. 🤍🤍🤍 #classof2026🎓 #graduate @rileyamberr_ by @tarawright47
M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S 🎄♥️ Grateful is an understatement. Riley’s dad surprised her this year and it was the sweetest thing to witness. I am so grateful for all my family, their giant hearts. I know every year is different and being with people or spending a holiday alone means nothing of one’s worth. It’s all experience, and I’m grateful this is mine this year. However you spend your season, I wish you peace and love. ♥️ by @tarawright47
My mom and I took my kids camping up on Beaver Mountain for some fresh air, connection to nature and to each other, and to make memories. It was perfect and I’m so grateful we went. ♥️♥️♥️ by @tarawright47
