Spraying Target Coatings EM6000 with the Wagner FLEXiO 4300 — this combination worked great on this dining table restoration.

The FLEXiO 4300 handled the EM6000 beautifully and laid down a smooth, even finish. Definitely a setup I’ll be using again in the shop.

𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲-𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁.

Not every wood finishing project has the same demands. So why should every coating be formulated the same way?

At Target Coatings, we believe the best finishing results begin with selecting the right chemistry for the application.

That's why our 𝗘𝗺𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵® 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 are engineered with specific performance objectives in mind.

✅ 𝗘𝗠𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬𝘄𝘃𝘅 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗸𝘆𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 — Delivers the warm, traditional appearance of an oil-based varnish with the versatility of modern waterborne technology. Designed for interior and exterior woodwork, with the flexibility to spray, brush, or roll.

✅ 𝗘𝗠𝟴𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗰𝘃 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 — Engineered for demanding interior applications where surface hardness, water resistance, and long-term durability matter. A self-sealing, ready-to-spray formulation designed for efficient production and reliable results.

Two distinct chemistries. Two different applications. One commitment to professional-grade performance.

For more than three decades, we've developed American-made waterborne coatings around a simple principle:

𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼.

The Emcat+ Series by TargetCoatings has been engineered to eliminate toxic catalysts amd additives from the professional and DIY workspace. Since 1988 our mission at TargetCoatings is to research, develop and bring to market innovative wood coating technologies that offer the best performance with the lowest user and environmental impact possible.

TargetCoatings: Waterborne in the USA since 1988 by @targetcoatings

TargetCoatings is recognized for its expertise in waterborne product development and engineering, having pioneered the early stages of waterborne wood coatings research and development in the late 1980s—well before major wood coatings producers entered the waterborne market.

Since 1988, we have been committed to strictly waterborne solutions.

Our key attributes include:
- Strictly in the Waterborne Format
- User-Safety
- Maximum Performance Values
- Low Environmental Impact
- Low Toxic Exposures (Short and Long term)

We are excited to introduce our new Emcat+ Waterborne Wood Finish Series, which delivers the traditional 2K solvent performance to wood finishing professionals without the risks associated with highly toxic isocyanate or aziridine catalysts.

While competitors claim that isocyanate waterborne catalysts (pure or blocked) are the only means to achieve true solvent 2K durability in a waterborne format, we stand by our belief that they are incorrect.
