I’m truly sorry to anyone who hasn’t been graced by the presence of my mother yet (and I know she’s gonna roll her eyes when she sees this but it’s all true). Gosh I love you so much mom you are the strongest, bravest, kindest woman I know and having you as a role model my whole life is the best gift I could ever receive. Anyone who knows my mom knows that anytime you talk to her you either leave with something in your hand or advice or just a really big smile because that’s just her. She thinks about anyone and everyone before herself and I think that’s one of the most admirable traits about her. I love you forever mom 🩷🩷

On February 9, 2015 I was diagnosed with a blood cancer called acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The next 2 1/2 years of my life were a blur. I remember hospital smells, I remember the sound of IV machines, and I remember how much people were there for me. I hate when people call me brave or say I fought a battle. I had to. It wasn’t by choice. I knew the minute the doctor told me I was diagnosed, this would be a part of my life forever. There will always be a piece of me that holds on to that little girl trying to keep her safe. I would do anything for her. When blood cancer United approached me asking if I wanted to be apart of their campaign, I immediately knew this was my chance to help as many little girls like me. Millie and I want to make our campaign goal around patient support so that we can raise money to help more survivors during and after treatment because believe me, both are just as hard. Our goal is to raise 50,000 dollars towards funding blood cancer research in 7 weeks.
