Unspoken Exhaustion Women Carry! It’s the silent pressure to be strong to hold the family together, hold the job together, hold emotions together, even when her own world feels shaky. It’s the constant emotional labor anticipating everyone’s needs, smoothing conflict, supporting others, being the safe place for everyone else while having no place to collapse herself. It’s the quiet ache of never being poured into-giving love, support, time, energy, wisdom, and care… while rarely receiving it back in equal measure. I met a Ms Scottie walking yesterday. She is about 80ish I’m thinking. So spry. Says she goes to the gym daily. I spotted her at the farmers market. Such good spirits. She said I was fly. I said okay Ms. Scottie. I hope I see her again. I love seniors. Makes me think of my mom. by @tarinnaterrell

I think I need to take a photography class. I’m enamored by green spaces. Whenever I walk I stop to notice. I saw this tree that resembled a Christmas tree. None of the other trees around were like it. I have walked this path before but I never noticed. I said hmmm. It was metaphorical to me. God made each of us like no other. We were born to be different and to be set a part. There is beauty in that. So often in life people try to blend in. Be okay being unique. That means you may stand alone just like this tree. It may seem as if you are alone. You aren’t. There were many trees right near by doing their own thing. Message is. Do you. Be you. Love these two so much. My mom’s siblings. Last two still here. 🥹😩My uncle said, “I want to see my sister”. Ok. We went. Even tho I had to drive to bumbafield to get him and then go to DC. I’m tired. But it was an easy yes. Oh I love them so much. 🥹🥹Can’t believe so many loved ones are gone. 🥹My family dynamic has changed so much. Life is fleeting. Love people while you can. by @tarinnaterrell

Women carry things close to the heart such as a child’s choices, a partner’s decisions, an employer’s actions. The secondary impact of someone else’s pain can sit on our soul like it belongs to us.
