The world knew the legend. Few knew the man. Here is the official poster for the new documentary LOMU, directed by Vea Mafile’o and Gavin Fitzgerald. LOMU is a complex and deeply human portrait of Jonah Lomu - the most adored son of the Pacific and a legendary All Black - whose extraordinary talent and presence transcended rugby and reshaped the global game.The film will have its NZ premiere screening as the Centrepiece film at Whānau Mārama NZ International Film Festival 2026, on Sat 1 August at The Civic in Tāmakai Makaurau Auckland. Additional screening info to come. Further announced today, LOMU will also have its Australian premiere at Sydney Film Festival in June. Stay tuned for more info on LOMU. by @taropatchcreative
