My stick is bigger than yours.
Comparison is the thief of joy you know.
Each is designed for a specific job.
One for clobbering in battle, one for tasks requiring finess.
Don't be cocky, or rude just because something differs from your own ideals.
You do you and let them do them.
Enough said!

I've pulled this card twice in one day from 2 different decks. I think I'm being not so subtly told I drink too much coffee ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🤣

Oh my goodness, what an adventure the 6 of Deniers has just had. I propped it up on the mantlepiece next to the 5, and the mischievous thing knocked it behind the fire surround 😳

After a quick dismantle it has been rescued...they are now not talking to one another 🙄 they are on their comfort blanket to recover!

How different can 2 cards be.

The vividness of a bountiful promise with 9 cups to fill with emotions, and many items that bring joy, happiness, acceptance socially and by our peers.

Then the cool darker blue hues of the Hermit, alone in the wilderness of the mountains, seeking peace, wisdom and solace.

I feel that life is very 9 of Cups, we're bombarded with do this, buy that, be like this, you must watch, do, have etc. etc. To the point we believe this is what happiness is. But don't you find that a bit exhausting.

Yet we all crave solitude, freedom of escape, a hut in the wilderness, a simpler life. Free from society, rules and the pressure of life.

But what if you can have both?

It's about balance and perspective. Do the societal norms, have your purchased comforts, but also have the solitude, the escape place, somewhere calm to help reset your nervous system. Find time to dim life's colours, to rest up so you can be ready to join the bright lights of life when you have to.

🐧 Applications are coming in already from members of TABI for their spot at the Midwinter Conference 🤩 it's an amazing annual event to dispel the winter blues and bring the talents of our members to the fore.

I've almost filled one day, so get your applications in soon to secure your place.

Here are the instructions for application:

We warmly encourage TABI members who have not previously spoken at one of our Midwinter Conferences to consider applying. We are always pleased to welcome new voices, fresh perspectives, and genuine enthusiasm for tarot and related subjects.

When submitting your application, please focus on your proposed topic rather than promoting a product or service. We are open to a wide range of tarot and related subjects, so there is plenty of scope for thoughtful and engaging proposals.

Speaker places are limited to 12. Applications will close once all places have been filled, or on 30 November, whichever comes first.

A reserve list will be held in case any spaces become available.

Places tend to fill quickly, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible if you would like to be considered.

The application form is only available from the forum here:

https://tabi.org.uk/forum/forum/help-information/announcements/315132-upcoming-zoom-events

I look forward to receiving your application.
