The New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Libra on 10/14 has been building for weeks✨🌕✨ Have you felt the heightened & emotionally charged energy the past few weeks?? If so, you’re def not the only one 😅

We’re in the middle of an eclipse season which ends after the Full Moon lunar eclipse in Taurus on the 28th. Eclipse season is known as one of thee most ‘fated’ of periods in astrology. When we talk about full moons we talk about releasing things that no longer serve us. With new moons we talk about setting intentions and opening the door for new things to enter your life. Now, when we talk about eclipses, THIS is a time to let situations play out as they may & not control things. Even if it’s anxiety inducing/stressful/painful, everything we go through during eclipses sets us up by clearing out energy & people that no longer serves us and makes room for the things and people that FILL our cup.

W/ this building energy we’ve been in since September, I’ve been reflecting a lot on the past few years. 2 years ago this month my life did a 180. I was living in a different city that I spent years building a life in, in a relationship I was miserable in, working 2 jobs & trying to finish my last class. I went from that to starting from scratch in Mpls. New job, new home, trying to keep my biz afloat with relocating, and getting reacquainted with friends I barely saw during the time I was in Winnipeg. To say the least, I was a wreck and hardly felt like a person. Thinking about where I was 2 years ago, or even a year ago - feels like it was another lifetime with all the changes I’ve been through. I’m not saying all is perfect, but I feel so much more in alignment and am more certain of myself now than I was in October of 21 & 22 which I’m proud of. The changes I went through during those eclipse seasons undoubtedly gave me the autonomy & trust in myself to propel myself forward with my goals, and meet my relationships with genuine love & respect, something I couldn’t do for a long time bc I was clinging to things/people out of fear & attachment. Now that the summer wild ass astrological weather is coming to an end, I’m ready to dish about what energy we’ve endured 😅 It was a summer of re-evaluating, re-adjusting, and ultimately re-arranging.

The most important thing to take from alll the retrogrades we trecked through this summer (Venus, Pluto, Saturn, Mercury AND Neptune 😵‍💫) is to touch base with your own needs and desires to stay in alignment with your path.

We can get so caught up in proving a point that we lose sight of why we’re even trying to prove something to someone else. The only person you need to prove things to is yourself(!), so hopefully this summer has shown or reminded you how much your worth and to not settle for anything that makes you feel otherwise. Don’t forget that You get to decide what makes you feel at home in the world and surround yourself with people who make you feel seen and valued exactly as you are 😌💛 by @tarotxstone_

✨🌕✨Full Moon in Aquarius✨🌕✨
Tomorrow’s Aquarius Full moon highlights where our egos are fragile and the need to release our desire for acceptance from others. What we actually need to feel confident is accepting our uniqueness as we are, even the parts of ourselves that we reject (and assume others will reject too). The need for external validation lessens the more you lean into your authenticity and trusting yourself.

This Full Moon will have people shedding any energy that strays them from their authenticity. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus and Saturn, but I’m going to focus on the Uranian influence for this full moon. Uranus is the planet of freedom, change, and the ability to visualize new possibilities, it’s also notorious for its unpredictable energy (which gives Aqua placements that quirky reputation). Aquarius rules inidividuality and how that individuality plays a part in the collective & our community (friendships/ friend groups), meaning this Aqua full moon is likely showing who your real friends are. If there’s any drama during an Aqua full moons it usually relates to our friendships - or if it’s romantic drama it’s likely that it’s surrounding friendships or group dynamics.

Heavy energy will be lifted from those who are willing to let go. You might have tried to make certain things work, but if they aren’t know that you did your best, it’s okay to let go and start over elsewhere. The urge to break away from social norms and go in the direction where your gut/intuition is guiding you is heightened rn, remember not everything is suppose to make sense in the moment - sometimes your instincts differ from what you “should” do because it’s what’s right for you. It’s important to follow those intuitive nudges and trust that you’re being guided in the right direction.

“How do tarot readings work?“ is thee most asked question I get, so lemme walk you through a typical reading 💫

We start by chatting for a bit, could be a couple min or it could be a half hour. I always say there’s no wrong way to go about a reading. I’ll explain that you can go into it just wanting general clarity, or being curious about certain areas of life you want clarity in (career, family, love life, friendships, etc.), or you can come with more specific questions. This helps people (mainly 1st timers) feel more at ease by understanding how it’ll play out.

People also ask what specific Q’s they can ask, the most common of the specific natured q’s people come into a reading with is “me & my partner have been together 2 years and I wanna know about what’s ahead for us or if we should stay together” or “I’ve been talking to this person for months and I’m not sure what to do about the situation because sometimes I think they’re really into me & other times I’m not so sure”

After a question/s is decided whether it’s “I want general clarity/ I want clarity in my career” I start shuffling the cards. When I draw the cards I explain what each position of a specific card means. In a mini reading there are 3 positions the cards will be in: past | present | future, mind | body | spirit (& for those into astro I do moon | mercury | mars). Then I dive into what each card means in the context of the position it’s in (i.e. having the 7 of swords in the position of the past means you were in a situation where someone was being deceitful or sneaky to you, or you to them) I’ll spend anywhere from 1-5 min explaining each card, but the more you engage to add context about a card/situation means we could spend anywhere from 2-10 min talking about a card and what it means for you. You can also be silent & just listen until the end of a reading too, it’s entirely up to what you’re comfy with. However often times people do get a deeper understanding of a reading when there’s more of an open dialogue about the cards and how they connect to your reality.

✨🌊🐚Cancer Season, June 21st-July 20th 🐚🌊✨

The shift in energy from last Monday (♊️ szn) to this Monday (♋️ szn) has been a palpable one, can you feel it?

Gemini season had a lot of fun, mutable & light energy. All I wanted to do was be around others & talk about ideas with anyone who wanted to gab it up 🗣️ So much curious bubbly energy (which is why gemini szn is one of my favs ☺️) but it was also very vacant of any heavy feelings or serious energy.

The past week since Cancer season started on the other hand has had an entirely different vibe. ♋️ energy is really about our roots: family/ childhood/ friendship roots, what we hold dearest to our hearts and who we nurture/who nurtures us. It’s also about nurturing yourself and doing what is best for you, even if it’s not what’s “best” for others.

The Moon rules this sign too, so these placements are more sensitive to the moon changing signs every 2 days more than other placements - especiallyy if you have a Cancer moon. ♋️ placements are notorious(!!) for putting others desires/needs ahead of their own which can be detrimental to them because this behavior just reaffirms their needs aren’t as important as others are, which can lead to resentment of others. This cycle that a lot of Cancer’s find themselves in is rooted in their avoidant tendencies. Even though ♋️’s are inherently emotional bc they’re a water sign + ruled by the Moon, I call them the earth sign of the water placements bc of their emotional avoidance being rooted in making others happy at their own expense. When you think about the animal associated with this sing, it’s literally a crab, which are known for retreating beneath the sand.

This szn is aalways a doozy for me because my chart has a lot of water energy in it, so if you have water in your chart (especially ♋️) you may be feeling the shift of emotional energies more than others while the sun is in ♋️. Take care of yourself however you need to, even if it means going inward & taking space for yourself.
