Enjoy the ride and have a great day!

Akhir Agustus 2026, Clubwater, band indiepop asal Bandung, merilis single terbaru “Cherry Lies” melalui Tarsius Records, sublabel Anoa Records. Sebuah pengingat bahwa tak semua hal seperti yang kita percaya. taken in Lies Lies Lies by @tarsiusrecords

---------------

She paints her lips with cherry lies
Snorts her dreams in lullabies
Dancing slow in broken heels
Love’s a high she never feels

She kissed the night, forgot her name
Wrote her love in lines of shame
He watched her fall and called it grace
Said pain looked pretty on her face

He said, "You're my drug, my sweet decay
I chase you 'til I fade away."

She laughs and lights another flame,

Two addicts playing the same game

These lyrics depict a deeply toxic relationship: two people are as dependent on each other as they are on a drug. They pursue one another not out of healthy love, but because of an addiction to pain, destruction, and escape. The terms “drug,” “sweet decay,” and “playing the same game” reinforce the metaphor that their relationship has become a cycle of addiction that is difficult to break.

and we call it "Cherry Lies"

"Cherry Lies," the latest single from Clubwater @clubwater.pop —one of Bandung's finest indie-pop bands—has been released today. A song about heartbreak and love never fails to captivate the lovelorn.

Listen to the track on various digital streaming platforms and via Tarsius Records on Bandcamp!
