Introducing the cast of Bald Boy: The Musical! ✨ Finally, we have our titular guy himself!!

Alexis Lazo is thrilled to make his NYC debut in BALD BOY: THE MUSICAL at The TANK Theatre. He holds an Associate in Performing Arts from Dutchess Community College—where his collegiate credits include Charlie Price in Kinky Boots and Jay in Mustard by Kay Sandler—and earned his Certificate in Performing Arts from AMDA. Many thanks to Director Ayşe Eldek, the creative team, and his family and friends for their unwavering support.

Artemis Zara Gültekin is so excited to be working with TARTE again, in a MUSICAL no less!!! She is an actor, writer, singer, sound designer, violinist, and an overall lover of telling stories from Ankara, Türkiye. NYU Tisch Drama BFA. In her free time, she is often jamming to Fall Out Boy, Ado and anime OPs, reacting very loudly to everything, and losing sleep because of her noisy mind! You can also find her every first Monday of the month at Living Radio NYC at Under St. Marks. Introducing the cast of Bald Boy: The Musical! ✨ Up next is our 🎶 mother 🎶, Eleanna!

Eleanna is an actor, singer, musician, and activist from Greece. She is a jury member of the 2025 ALPINALE Kurzfilmfestival and the 2025 San Francisco Greek Film Festival. She studied Theater, Music, and Piano, and won 2nd Best Actress for playing Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet" (Olive Festival 2010, Milan). She made her 54 Below debut in the Broadway-bound "Goodbye New York: A New Musical" by A. Beall and E. McCormack. Her Off-Broadway credits include "GBNY" (Theatre 555), "Anne Frank, a Musical" (Edith/Actors Temple), and "Onassis" (Maria Callas/American Theatre of Actors). Other appearances include "A Chorus Line" (CDC Theatre), "The Miracle of Christmas" (Queens Theatre), and concerts "Requiem" & "LUX" (Carnegie Hall). In Europe, she has performed in numerous plays, musicals, films, and TV series.

Alice is a graduate of NYU Tisch Drama (The Classical Studio, Atlantic Acting School) CREDITS: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena/Pennsylvania Shakespeare), Clue (Scarlett/West Virginia Public), Cringe (59E59, Edinburgh Fringe), Titus Andronicus (La MaMa), The Winter’s Tale (Paulina), Parade (Lincoln Center), These and Those (NYTF), The Bacchae (Agave), The 25th Annual… (International Thesfest). She’s a member of the sketch comedy group Enemies to Lovers (BCC) and works as a teaching artist across NYC.

Introducing the cast of Bald Boy: The Musical! ✨ Next up is our FEARRRRRR-some Pirate Captain and Shoe Shiner.

Sercan Badur is an award-winning actor and drama coach, celebrated for his impactful contributions to the performing arts.. His work has been featured in internationally recognized festivals and projects, including the Williamsburg Film Festival, New Theatre Magazine, and the Cannes Film Festival.Sercan gained widespread acclaim for his powerful performance as Cihan in the series War of the Roses, which resonated deeply with audiences across South America, the Middle East, and the Balkans. Beyond acting, he has collaborated with major global brands such as Unilever, Osis Watch, Welder Watch, and Caffe Nero, and in 2018, hosted Spain’s Ben10 Challenge, further expanding his international presence.

He currently represents Pace University in Europe, contributing to cultural and educational outreach initiatives. Passionate about social impact, Sercan actively supports causes related to autism, animal rights, education, and rare diseases. His work with children and commitment to arts education continue to inspire aspiring artists around the world.

Sercan currently continues his career between Istanbul and New York, building bridges between cultures through storytelling, performance, and creative collaboration.

Introducing the cast of Bald Boy: The Musical! ✨ Next up is our super serious Doctor, Mete 👨‍⚕️

Mete has worked as a theatre actor at Theatre Anadolu in Eskişehir Anadolu University, Istanbul State Theatre, Çığır Sahnesi Oyuncuları, and Semaver Company. After moving to Istanbul, he was cast in various movies and TV series.
He was first noted by the audience with his role in the Yanık Koza TV series. His popularity increased with his leading role in the movie Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun as Yüzbaşı Mete, and his breakthrough came with Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, in which he played the role of Soner Talaşoğlu. Now he lives in New York and continues his acting journey here. This is his first production with TARTE and he is so excited to be in this fun musical.

Nikki is thrilled to be a part of Bald Boy: The Musical! She would like to thank the incredible cast and creative team for making this project such a joy to work on. Nikki previously toured as a Blippi Buddy on Blippi’s Wonderful World Tour, played Ellie Blake in Freaky Friday at Bigfork Summer Playhouse, and performed in the ensemble while understudying Mopsa in Head Over Heels at The Loessin Playhouse. Nikki’s passion is bringing stories to life and creating positive change through art. Follow her journey on Instagram: @nikkineuu.

Ley Nikfarjam is a playwright/actor/director/Fall Out Boy enthusiast from the Sunshine State, who is currently based in New York City. Ley is extremely excited to be a part of Keloglan, and is so grateful to the creative team for the opportunity to partake in theatre like this. Ley is a graduate of Tisch School of the Arts, and has put up two plays there, as well as directed the new musical Archie’s Weird Parody in an off-Broadway venue. Ley would like to thank friends, family, and fellow cast members for all the support, and for making this experience unforgettable. :) <3

Introducing our musician for Bald Boy: The Musical! ✨

Umut Yaşmut has been immersed in Turkish music from his earliest years. He began his formal studies at the Boğaziçi Musiki Foundation Turkish Music Conservatory in 1984 where he studied the violin, qanun and classical voice with Nuri Candaş. During his education at the conservatory, Umut performed many concerts, and began teaching there himself in 1992.

While in Istanbul, Umut performed with many of the great musicians of the time, including Safiye Ayla, Mustafa Sağyaşar, Dursun Salkım, Zehra Bilir, İnci Çayırlı, Emel Sayın, and the Erköse family. He performed live numerous times on television and radio broadcasts including TRT, Star TV, ATV, Show TV, Marmara TV, Doğuş FM, and Veysi FM. He also performed at many venues, including the famous Maksim Musikhol in Istanbul and the Parliament International Jazz Festival with Barbaros Erköse and Craig Harris in İzmir.

In 1998, Umut moved to New York City to expand his musical career. Here he founded and joined numerous ensembles, expanding his repertoire to include not only Turkish classical, folk and pop, but also Arabic, Greek, Balkan, Sefardic, and Spanish Flamenco. He also collaborated with the singer Tarkan in 1999. Currently, Umut performs with his group Radyo Istanbul, as well as Dance and Music Camp with Tayyar Akdeniz, Zafer Cınbıl, Ara Dinkjian, Cengiz Onural, Brenna MacCrimmon, Zikrayat Arabic Orchestra, the Maeandros Ensemble, and Rutgers University Symphony Orchestra. In America, he has performed at numerous venues, including The Triad for TARTE's Pera'da Zaman, Lincoln Center with Omar Faruk Tekbilek and for Lincoln Center's Heritage Sundays. In 2008, he took the stage at a prestigious fundraiser held by Bill Clinton for Barack Obama. He has participated in numerous festivals across the US. He continues to teach workshops and private lessons in solfeg (makam), qanun and voice.
