Yesterday marked the 2 year anniversary of my first published book. I’m not typically one to harp on the past, as there is so much greater yet to come, but yesterday was a reminder of who I am and who I can be. There is still so much untapped potential yet to be exposed. If you still don’t have your copy of Die or Live Trying, dm me for a signed copy today. What a blessing it is to travel AND share poetry. The Golden Teachers Tour is in full swing this summer!

Chicago & Detroit treated me so well, from the food to the beaches to the community. Between the two cities, I hit up 7 open mics and 2 writing workshops. It was such a privilege experiencing new art spaces and witnessing some of the Midwest’s finest.
