POSTS STORIES REELS

🚨 1 MILLION VIEWS. But the number isn’t the real win.

My account just hit 1 million views in the last 30 days and honestly, it means more to me than just a big number on a screen. ❤️

For years, I’ve stayed committed to creating content around sports — interviews, stories, women in sport, the business behind the game, and the people behind the headlines. ⚽🏏🎙️

I never tried to make my content something it wasn’t just to appeal to everyone.

And that’s probably the biggest lesson I’ve learned:

👉 You don’t need everyone. You need your people.

The people who care about the stories you tell.
The people who keep coming back.
The people who believe in the niche you’re building.

So, if you’re a creator wondering whether your niche is too specific — keep going. 🔥

Stay consistent.
Stay curious.
Stay true to what you want to talk about.

Your audience might be smaller than the mainstream — but it can be more meaningful, more engaged, and more yours. 💫

Here’s to continuing to tell stories that matter. 🥂

An important series for India in the context of WTC qualification. It will be interesting to see how they approach the series.

I’ve shared my thoughts on it in my latest video on YouTube. Link in bio. by @taruka_s

🚨 From representing India as an athlete 🇮🇳 to working with global brands and institutions like Manchester United, BBC, UNICEF, Stanford, and Formula 1 — the journey has been anything but linear.

There were rejections, setbacks, pivots, and moments of self-doubt. But there was also resilience, reinvention, and relentless passion for sport and storytelling.

Athlete. Journalist. Researcher. Founder. Dreamer.
Still building. Still learning. Still showing up and so much to do. Grateful and raring to go 😎💫

“Secretary, you won’t be counted as a friend of India unless you know cricket.”

That’s what India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, reportedly told US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. And honestly, he has a point!

Because today, sport is more than a game. It’s soft power.

I’ve spoken before about how India is building sporting partnerships with countries around the world. And it’s time we explored that opportunity with the United States.

So, what could an India–US sports partnership look like?

Here’s my proposed roadmap.

First, sports science and research. Bring Indian and American universities together to collaborate on biomechanics, injury prevention and athlete performance.

Second, sports technology and AI. Combine India’s growing tech capabilities with America’s expertise in performance analytics, wearables and talent identification.

Third, athlete and coach exchanges. Create pathways for knowledge-sharing across cricket, basketball, baseball and other sports.

Fourth, women’s sport and grassroots development. Invest in coaching, participation and leadership to build a stronger sporting ecosystem in both countries.

And finally, commercial partnerships. Connect leagues, investors, brands and sports-tech companies to unlock new business opportunities.

With the FIFA World Cup 2026 and LA28 on the horizon, this is the time to turn conversations into collaboration.

India brings the talent, the audience and the ambition. The US brings world-class sporting ecosystems, research and commercial expertise.

The goal isn’t just to play together. It’s to learn, innovate and grow together.

So, can sports diplomacy become the next pillar of India–US relations?

I believe it can. What would you put first?
